How populated is this server going to be?
VOT and other PVE servers are almost maxed out, I already rolled a toon on this server, anyone have any ideas?

Only VoT is Full, but i don't know about other PvE servers, but is not cus some server are popular in the forums mean that will be the best PvE server in the game.

VOTs and DragonFall just has more people posting in the forums you mean?

Ya i mean that, but u can't never know just an inch. there some people that don't used the forum maybe just for information and such.

I don't have a link, but I have seen on more than one occasion somebody link a study that concluded that only about 10% of gamers read forums at all, and only about 1% actually post on those forums. So thread counts don't mean a great deal.

Personally, I wouldn't make a decision based on thread/post count as it seems to be that the people who post the most are often the most immature.

I am very happy with the Arachnaea community so far. No IRL Picture Thread (yet, and i hope to not see one), and we haven't seen any useless threads of name calling like on VoT.

I just realized that Arachnaea out of 10 servers is 3rd from last of forums posting. Just makes it feel like a ghost town here lol

If you see the number of guilds that are already formed and dedicated to Arachnaea, that should be a better indicator.

It depends on your play style. If you're a casual player who needs to roll pugs a lot, populated servers make sense. If you're more into close-knit guilds and a good community, smaller servers are better. The smaller the server, the more your actions shape it, and the more you affect your community. Making friends and allies becomes important, and people who abuse other players will be exiled by the whole server community rather than forgotten in a large crowd.

Personally, I prefer quality over quantity.

I'd like to call this server "The Classy Spider Server".
