I know I start a lot of these silly threads but since we have one of the lowest post counts of all the forums I'm hoping that keeping it active will attract more players to join us so they don't think we're a dead server by our lack of forum posts. We might not be the highest in population but I think Arachnaea is packed with friendly, helpful players. So here's another silly thread to add to our post count. Years Gaming: I started back in the NES days with Mario and all that but didn't play on a regular basis until my early 20s. I played a lot of PS2, Tomb Raider and Tekken and got into PC gaming when the first Fable game came out. I started MMOs in 2005 with Guild Wars though not a true MMO. My first real MMO was Everquest2 which I started in 2006 and still play off and on to this day.

Do you play TERA with "real life" friends?: Nope, only online friends. My boyfriend is burnt on MMOs right now but I've been trying to convince him to give it a try. He's a bit wrapped up in ME3 and stuff right now.

Hobbies: Hiking, running, camping, gaming. My boyfriend belongs to a Toyota 4x4 club that we go on offroad trips with at least once a month. I also like to help with some of the easier mods on the truck like putting on new tires and the skid plates. I'm also a big arts and crafter, you name it I've probably tried it at some point. I mostly paint, do silk floral arrangements, beaded jewelry, crochet, crossstitch and make polymer clay stuff like figurines and decorations. I also love to garden but until we move into a house I've put it on hold. My balcony garden was way too hard to keep up with. And watchin' the Phillies!

This was from our run on Sunday. The guy in the back is a spotter who helped guide us over a few of the larger rocks. The club had a huge turn out this month. We had 26 vehicles in the group.


Favorites (any of your favorite things: Food, music, movies, books, etc): My favorite food is Chicken A la King. I like music that is upbeat and I can sing or dance to. I don't like country very much. I love 80s pop, disco, funk, and jazz. I was really big in the EDM/rave scene in my late teens and still listen to some of the old breaks, house, drum and bass music that I loved back then. I also love The Beatles and many other classic rock groups. I don't enjoy reading much but The Hobbit is one of my favorite books. I also like James Patterson's stuff a lot. I'm a mystery fan and like quick easy reads. I got grounded a lot as a kid and my mom would take away my TV and radio so all I could do was read or draw so I got hooked on Agatha Christie books and Nancy Drews. I love pretty much every medieval, fantasy or super hero movie out there even the ones that are really bad.

Anything else about you that you would like to share (profession, schooling, siblings, etc): I'm trying to start a business selling my floral designs and crafts. I used to be a florist but hated working with the brides so I got more into silk floral and wreaths. I was an architecture major in college and switched to art education but at 17 I had no idea what I wanted to do and dropped out after less than a year. I've been considering going back. I have 3 brothers all younger. I also have a decent amount of tattoos.

I've attracted a various amount of other people to play Tera as well via screenshots on FB-- sadly none of them are people I know IRL, because i'm lame like that :P
