Warning to Arachnean Guilds! Guild Robbers

To this day, I have noticed an increasing number of rumors about people robbing guild banks. Just 20 mins ago, there was an LFG chat message saying to be cautious of a certain toon that recently robbed an innocent guild. My guild was also visited by such robber but thankfully our bank is closed to all members but the guild leader. And that person basically told us that he just robbed a guild bank. Why? He justified it as the bank being open to guild members so he decided to take everything and leave. He didn't even call it stealing, he called it business. He took 5000 Gold and 2 sleeper items. Please to ALL guilds, be cautious as to whom you recruit! Just go to your bank and lock it! Keep your stuff safe! ESPECIALLY if there is rare items you put in there! With this, I am gonna go inform my Guild Master to kick this person. Immediately.

might be a good idea to let them know that if they let someone new in.

THAT NOT TO GIVE THEM FULL ACCESS TO THE GUILD BANK(S).

This is something even my guild leader enforced for obvoious reasons.

as for the victums, they'll have to talk to the GMs about getting the stuff and gold back.

That sucks.

Don't give access to anyone but people you trust. If any member of the guild wants an item, have them ask the people who have access.

Let me guess, was this (edited)? This [filtered] was with us for a day before being kicked for being a [filtered] to everyone. Thankfully he had no guildbank privileges and nothing was stolen but I was sad to hear it happened to someone.

Yurian, I the gm of that guild who was victimized. I reported the person whom you edited out.I did go through your support system. That system is flawed becasue the person (edited) of support said the game was too new and still have not figured out what was good or bad behaviour. So by editied out the guilty person, you have protected her and the people who helped. Why do you protect the guilty? This game needs a better guild management like perhaps WoW.

Why are you criticizing EME when it´s your own fault??

He didn´t do anyhting illegal. If you invite someone to your guild and give him bank access privileges from day one that means exactly what's written. He can take whatever he wants.

Next you're going to call this an exploit...

It's your fault. Drop it and be more careful next time.

Whether it violates the TOS or not, its pretty damn sleezy. If you know the name of this person, I would advise you to make sure everyone else on the server does too, its not that hard to spread the word. Although truthfully they have likely already sold off to a gold reseller and moved on by now.
