I just wanted to share the video i entered into the contest. I spent a lot of time on this and i hope it shows! I'd appreciate any feedback. Please enjoy this Bezerker Guide :D

Pros: I like the layout of your video. The use of plugging in the skills as you discussed them.
I enjoyed the intro.
Covered the basics for a new comer to Tera and person playing Berserker.

Cons: Your character off to the left side seemed to pull my attention occasionally while you were showing skills.
Your music and game sound were overpowering your commentating at times. I usually put mine about -15 dB to -20dB so you can faintly hear my voice. -20dB is mostly when I'm on my group chat, since that seems to be pretty loud during the video.
I'm assuming your target audience was for someone new to the berserker class. The commentary was really slower than it needed to be. I felt like I was in an classroom just going over definitions in elementary school. (Please take this a criticism, I commend anyone that does an informational video, because it's NOT easy).

Kudos for putting this together. Not an easy task. Keep making videos and keep commentating. I like these type of videos the best. And your skill will get better with more practice and time.

Thank you both for taking the time to watch the video and comment! The reason i changed my voice was to match the character, as if she was the one that was talking. So i slowed the voice and exaggerated it a lot, I'll keep in mind to use my normal voice for other videos. I'll also work on my commentary and make the video more relaxed. I'm not used to putting myself out there, new at the video commentary, heh. Your feedback will help the future of my YouTube Channel! Thanks again! :DD

Glad to help! And I know how hard doing the commentary can be. It's really weird listening to your own voice and trying to judge it, haha. I've done it for videos in previous games. I like the idea but executed I don't think it worked out TOO well. I think most of the comments here hit it on the nail pretty well, good luck with the submission.

The idea is great. Just tone down the background music a little for clarity.

Also as many have mentioned, be more relaxed. It sounds like you are reading a script for the first time.

That said, I think you have the right idea. A little fine tuning and it can be great so don't get discouraged and keep it up!

I may be biased because i actually prepared an submitted a video for Berserkers as well. But i thought i would jump in and remark anyways as somebody who has been in your shoes.

Heres a few things that caught me eye.

1) You spelled Berserker wrong.

2) The layout and general idea of roleplaying the character for the guide was spectacular
But maybe in implementation not so great due to it feeling a little more scripted then you may have intended. mad props for the attempt tho, for what it is worth it was entertaining.

3) Your guide is the very most "noob" guide there is, you can learn nearly everything you talked about while still on the island of dawn. I find it better when making a guide to focus on things that aren't intuitive enough for people to notice on their own right away... or some cases at all.

This being said, i still gave you a positive thumb, because i felt the effort you made was warranting of it. (people down thumb too easily these days) You took a risk on the style of the video... and i think it came out pretty well over all.... The information presented on the other hand was i think the real weakness. You roleplayed your character for the voice, but you present your characters play style if that makes any sense? If you had this would have been spectacular.

Anyways a valiant effort none the less! Best of luck to you.

Thank you all for your feedback. Honestly, I was surprised that my video was so disliked. It kind of brought me down. That being said, it makes me really happy to see that some people can appreciate my hard work! Thank you so much!! I agree that the information i presented wasn't the best. I wanted it to be easy to understand, just a basic run down on a berserker. I don't feel like I've played the game enough to give the best advice out there. The game is still in closed beta for goodness sake! I'll remake this guide once i become an expert berserker and without the role-play voice ahaha xD. As i said before, I'll take your comments into consideration and become a better YouTuber. Thanks a bunch! :DD
