I clearly addressed his argument by calling it a straw man. It is a logical fallacy. Arguing against it would be like arguing against a brick wall, or someone like you.

easy answer, its their own opinions, as you have yours. and the whole point that is trying to be made against you right now is that some people like it, and you dont, for no better reasons then personal feelings towards the subjects, so this argument youre so keen on continuing isnt going to go anywhere, at least anywhere you seem to want it to go. basically THIS is as far as its gonna get, and youre just gonna have to deal with the fact that others can find amusement in the little things that you cant.
