Hello fellow community members of Basilisk Crag. Some of you know me, Dragonought leader of The High Five and some of you don't. Let me start off by giving you all some brief yet personal information about myself.
I am a 21 year old College student in Miami, my hobbies include dancing, online gaming, spending time with my close friends, and smoking cannabis. My mother is an amazing woman whom I look up to for her willingness to help others, passion, and dedication to never give up, my father is a very educated man whom I respect above all others, but is currently suffering from Parkinson's Disease in which I help him with day to day tasks such as buttoning up his shirt and tying his tie before work in the morning, upkeep on the house, etc. Yet I still love him dearly and cherish every moment I have with him.
Now there is a percentage of you might have read that and thought to themselves..."who cares?" Another percentage of you might be wondering...."What does this have to do with Tera and being a Vanarch?" yet there is a small percentage of you that might have connected my brief introduction directly to the Vanarch position and realized that these values clearly carry over to such an important job. Let me break it down for those who still don't understand where I'm coming from....
As a 21 year old college student (whom only has classes this term Tuesday and Thursday mornings), I have a very flexible schedule. An important aspect in a Vanarch since it is a very demanding position that needs to be constantly maintained since you in fact control an entire zone for everyone that's playing in it.
Hobbies? Dancing, online gaming, spending time with friends. This shows that I enjoy online gaming, much like the rest of you I'm sure...(wouldn't be playing Tera if you didn't :p ) I enjoy interacting with those close to me, (my community of guild members and hopefully the community of the area I will be controlling.) and that I'm a great dancer (ladies that one's just for you.)
The heroes I look up too, A.K.A my parents. My mothers passion, dedication, and willingness to help others are traits I want to directly incorporate my position of Vanarch. The reason I mentioned my situation with my father is to show that even when times are rough, and even when it is personally painful, I will still uphold my duties and do whatever I need to do help those I care for.
As Vanarch my goal is to form a community within the zone I control. To promote this I will be enabling constant PvP in the zone I control, not only to appeal to our PvP lovers (which I'm sure most of you are due to rolling on a PvP server) but to promote people grouping together to counter ganking and griefing. Think about to your past MMO experiences, you are there leveling alone when you see another fellow player killing the same monsters you are killing for a quest. You group up together to and team up to complete the quest much faster than you would have solo. Once completed you might continue questing together, eventually after killing many foes in battle side by side and chatting it up, you add each other to your friend lists and end up playing together again at another time.
This is what I want to incorporate in the zone that I control, building a community of players looking to enjoy the game together and form bonds and memories with one another. That is the beauty of online gaming. There are zerg guilds running for Vanarch positions for the sole purpose of power and fame over other players. I simply want to provide a constantly evolving area that players will have FUN playing in. That is my goal as Vanarch, for online gaming is nothing without the community behind it, and that's why I'm here to focus on strengthening the community of Basilisk Crag.
So good luck, have fun, and burn one with The High Five, and I hope you vote for Dragonought I promise I wont let you down if given the chance.

- Reason: People apparently don't like yellow text even though to me I was able to read it better against a darkblue/black background.
