Hello Basilisk Crag community,

We are currently in the process of developing our very own community website. Why make a community website? Well for starters, our server is a pvp server - where information will be flowing and a central location for it will be helpful. Next, Tera offers an interesting and powerful political system and a central location for this will be very helpful to those who wish to participate. Also, guilds can use our website for declarations of war, managing their allies, and pushing their overall agenda without being confined to the official server forum.

This endeavor will not be easy. That is why we are seeking brave volunteers to form our initial core group of administrators. Please use the volunteer link at the top of the website to apply to join us if you feel you have the appropriate experience, mindset, and time to offer. All applicants will be considered.

Also, please help us get this post stickied so we may have this conveniently located at the top of this forum for new individuals to find.

The domains have been purchased.

I'm willing to take a stab at helping with website upkeep and overall maintenance if that's required. I can also do some graphic work though I'm better with the technical side as well as keeping things up to date.

Technical Qualifications:
Experienced with HTML, BB Code & some Java
Know my way around: Photoshop, Fireworks and Corel Draw

Misc:
Game time per week: 40+
Forum Presence: I don't post much but I do keep myself well informed and look through them daily.
Ingame: I am in a PvP/PvE Guild so I will be able to keep tabs on both ends in order to update any on goings in game on both sides of the field.

I am mature and responsible so you can be sure that I'm not going to abuse or misuse the website in any way. I will also not make any significant changes without referring to the admin.

Sounds good. Lets give the domain a few hours to switch to the enjin website. If you have ever used enjin before, it is really easy to use but allows you to do a lot of customization.

Is there anyone else who wants to help out? I was hoping some community guild masters would want to throw their support into this. This benefits everyone, especially for a PvP server.

This is a fantastic idea! I hope you could find us of assistance in the future. I'm sure I speak on behalf of everyone else on this server, a community website specifically for this server is a great start!

I can agree to occasionally help (or type, as I would like to call it), though I am not going to devote my life and soul to it. It would be low(er) on my priority list of things to do.

I like the idea of a website made for the server. If done right it can be very helpful in organization. At the same time, it could not take off and do next to nothing. Just needs to be organized well.

I just sent you a PM regarding some ideas.

I agree it would be good to get some Guild Masters or even a ranked officer as a Liaison as they will have their own guild websites to run too.

Way to take the initiative. Looking forward to see what you'll have in store for BC :)
