[Luciform] Runs For Vanarch

In short, I (and Luciform) am no longer running for Vanarch, as I am departing from the game for personal reasons (better explained on the front page of our website). Though support tried, I cannot do anything about un-registering for Vanarch, switching GM (until voting is over I believe), etc.

To make a TL;DR - I am not having fun with the game. That is (I believe) the reason most of us play games, to have fun. After talking to my Officers and Members, I have decided to quit the game and step down leadership.

While I will be leaving TERA, I will still be around if needed. Luciform will be ran by NTK and will continue on. I bid you all the best of luck and fun in game or out of it, regardless if you like me or not.

As a member of Luciform, I'm proud to say this guild is the pinnacle of what it really means to be a 'guild'.

Half the gear I have on today was donated by fellow guild-mates; even when I try to repay them back with gold, often times they reject it and told me to use that gold it to +9 my gear.

The few friends I've made on this server have mentioned to me about how their guilds contain 1-2 personal groups who have no intention of contributing any of their time & resources to the rest of their guild. Almost all of those guilds will be running for Vanarch (I won't say who they are for obvious reasons.)

It rubs me the wrong way when I see guilds treat the majority of their members as nothing more than another guaranteed vote in their pocket. So ask yourself, if your guild hardly cares about you now, what makes you think they'll care about you and the rest of the community when they become Vanarch?

Sadly it seems people cannot read a simple request to keep out negative things.

Quite obvious when someone takes the time and effort to post negative comments that they have an issue with the person at hand.

Isn't being a "dungeon dweller" essentially the main job of an elected Vanarch? The main source of Policy Points will most likely be dungeons (Normal & Hardmode), B.A.M., & World Boss quests.

Beyond that, Luciform was very active in GvGs during CBT & OBT. Not the kind of GvGs where lowbies were hunted and members typed /gquit the moment they see danger, but large scale battles where it's 10-40 of us vs. 10-60 of them.

If you remain unpersuaded to vote for Mizugami of Luciform, feel free to explain why or ask questions. But if name-calling is going to be your best retort, then do us all a favor and just not type down anything at all. (Blueciform, Pussiform, Lucifbad, Lucifarm: We've heard it all)

To add to this, we don't trash talk guilds, nor trash talk people we kill in PvP.

As for the guild itself - we're hardcore in PvE AND PvP. Yes, we are dungeon dwellers. Because we strive for the best gear and progression than any other on the server. That is our goal. However, we also strive to be the best we can in PvP. Since battlegrounds and Nexus is out of the question right now - its currently pointless to flag up and piss people off when we intend to keep a good rep (not to mention there's no reward or point in flagging unless extremely necessary). We aren't GvGing actively CURRENTLY because, lets face it, there aren't any guilds out there yet.

There's 600+ guilds, but not any of them with a full guild of 60s, geared - mind you, that can pose a threat to us. Unless we are challenged right now without us intending it, or we see a good opponent - we're sticking to just doing whatever the hell we feel like doing until the good PvP comes into play.

Again, yes. We are dungeon dwellers. But we are all avid PvPers as well. GvG us sometime and see the teamwork in action or simply type in Luciform in youtube, Protomon. Not to mention many of us (including myself) are itching for any fights GvG wise that doesn't involve trying to find 1 guy to kill because the rest of the guild is /gquit or in towns. Any/all of your information lacking is somewhat there. Plus if you just simply look at the information on our site about us - it paints a pretty vivid picture of how we roll and what our intentions are.

I have a news-flash for you: NO ONE CARES. The fact that you guys are the following is why no one likes your guild:

1) Elitist snobs
2) Holier-than-thou attitude
3) Posts like yours that prove point 1 and 2

Your guild is the definition of what BC doesn't want or need because you add nothing to it. I suggest you take your guild of 40+ basement champions and move to VOT.

I would love to know where you get your information, kind sir. Because i've yet to get a whisper from a single player with hate. Also, i sense a lot of anger in your retaliation. Are you sure you're not mad?

Either way, good luck to all the other vanarch. Some have awesome ideals in mind, and negative comments should be avoided. It is a game after all. So much hate should stick to ingame or through private.

Not sure if this is serious or not because the few times I've come across Luciform groups they would always antagonize us. Galena or whatever you spell his name, a Slayer, has always said dumb [filtered] like "too easy" or "lol safezone" when we were outnumbered or vastly outgeared. Truly laughable.

Not trying to bump thread or slander but you are very misinformed when it comes to your own guild. To say you guys are some honorable MMO knights that respect their opponents is simply not true.

I've run into a few Luciform members that taunted/trash talked while grinding. Not complaining about it as it's all part of the 'PvP experience', but to claim that your guild in it's entirety doesn't trash talk, outlaw, or hunt lowbies is a little far-fetched. I doubt you can watch every move each and every one of your members make after-all.
