Nomed of Attrition Tyrant or Blowhard? Is this who you want for Vanarch?

You are only proving that Nomed's Candidacy has made an impact to this server. Individuals with such strength and impact is what exactly what a leader needs to be. One of your associates messaged me for the possible extortion of Nomed. I think truly a weak, shameful, and foolish individual will stoop low to buy his way to a leadership. This is where Nomed is not.

He will fight the good fight and I am sure the Goddess of Kaia will approve of this. My leader will always have my sword by his side.

May god bless all,

You tried to blackmail a self-proclaimed tyrant and leader of what you acknowledge is a stronger force into capitulating in war. All this act of insane arrogance has accomplished is to further provoke him and to make your soldiers a more appealing target.

You should seriously consider appointing one of your wiser underlings to take over tactical and diplomatic issues as you are clearly not suited for it.

No, we did not try to blackmail him, we tried to extort him. He told Black Legion members to vote for him, to which we told him we would for a price. It spiraled out of control from there. What you are looking at is Black Legion trying to force him to back off without violence. You know, politics...one of the other dimensions of this game.

I think you need to look at the big picture instead of a snapshot in time. In the end, Attrition and Supreme Vanarch Prime Nomed will have suffered for his arrogance. The self proclaimed "Vice Vanarch" Tyrant will come to the same conclusion.

It wont take very long for the self appointed rulers of whatever province it is that they make a go for realize that they have dug themselves into a very deep hole, one in which they most likely will not be able to climb out of.

Yes, they have level 60's and we do not at this time. But there will come a point when the entire server is populated by 60's. Then the grief guild Attrition will hide in caves or be slaughtered by the entire population of Basilisk Crag who are fed up with their sh.t.

While it takes a monster to savor laughter during a strong man's slaughter of the weak, it also takes a fool to listen to the campaigning of sell swords and free companies. My Lords, It is just as likely as any other conceivable scenario that Nomed has paid Dark Legion to start smearing his name as a way to place it before your eyes.

As for Dark Legion getting involved in politics, it truly is unfortunate. For the day is dark when the sleeves of paid mercenaries are smudged by standing hand in hand beside politicians.

Make no mistake my lords and ladies, neither is your friend.

Does everyone realize that there are over 850 guilds on this?

Both of these PK guilds are living in a fantasy world, if they think they are going to get the majority vote in any pprovince.

Black Legion is NOT running for Vanarch in the election. We will merely influence who does get elected. Black Legion is not a PK guild. We are a mercenary guild. We do not engage in foul activities unless we are paid to do so. Chances are, if a BL member has killed you, he was paid to do so. We do not kill for joy or the purpose of harassment. We do it for coin. If there is no coin involved, there is no reason to kill.

A more truthful statement would be...Black Legion is sometimes an outlaw, and sometimes heroes. We kill outlaws and pk'ers all the time. We kill innocents when paid. Is this becoming clear to you?

Once again, Black Legion will not be seeking office in the election. But we are mobilizing the people of BC to ensure that we do have good leaders in place.

Either way -

Your stance and your chosen role within this game is controversial to say the least. Every time you kill someone for money, you have pissed one person off - and you have made one person happy.

How does this improve your Political standing in anyway? Every action you take has an equal
negative / positive reaction.

Based on the community actions I have seen thus far within BC's community. I suspect the winning Vanarchs will run on an Anti - PK platform.

Your confidence that you can mobilize a vote in one direction or another is laughable. You don't do anything positive for the less fortunate, which is probably 90% of the playerbase.

Win their Hearts and Minds son, you don't have the stones to do anything by force.

Business is business my friend. We are offering a service to the citizens of BC, that many have already taken us up on. Black Legion prefer's to walk a fine line between villain and hero. Not everything we do is bad. We do offer other services that are targeted at helping individuals. On occasion we even do things construed as "nice" for free.

However, being one or the other is plain bad for business. Right in the middle is where we want to be. In the thick of things. Black Legion lacking the stones to do anything by force is a simple falsehood. The facts are we are still a young guild in the leveling process. At such time that Black Legion is full of level 60's and could wage a war on even footing, we will gladly do so. Our "Stones" as you put it are more than evident. It is also obvious that we will fight a war even if we are at a disadvantage. As evidenced by this thread and what it contains. We will always try to come to an agreement that involves us being paid in some sort or fashion. It would be foolish to do otherwise. Dont mistake wisdom for a lack of stones. We wont back down, even if we are killed in the process. All things in time my friend.

Improving our political standing is accomplished behind the scenes. You would be a fool if you assume that everything we do is public knowledge. In fact, the majority of what we do is in closed room deals and behind the scenes. For a political genius, you are very short sighted.

Anyhow...resist the tyranny my friends!!!
