I dont personally understand whats the reason to care, your a small guild and you play smart OR you recruit people and have a larger guild. Who doesnt want to be on the winning side of a fight? lol You wait for even numbers (or more) or you could recruit more people so you didnt have to worry over that.
"Zerg" guilds just have an established guild coming in or good recruiters. Its not really intended for the smaller guilds to compete in "open" combat. If they are being "*itches" and hanging out in towns or running to safe zones when zergs bring more members, then they are just playing the best that they can to win. Im not in a guild but I dont approve of that sort of play but it is smart if your in it to win it. Hit and run when you can since you dont have numbers and bounce out. Will force the guild your fighting to spread their numbers evenly, not knowing where or who your going to hit next or all just sit and grouped up in town on top of that. I look at "winning" as a secondary objective, having fun and pvping is first.

I am sure there are others who would say differently, especially on Mistmoor. We didnt even have more than 8 32s until late yesterday so get your facts straight. Name the time and place and we will be there. And be a man and step up and identify your in game name and guild. I am sure you will see more of us.
Gallowglas does the same, sit in town and agree to a fight when its 6v6, dont come out till they have atleast 12 and then sit in towns talking [filtered] and not much else till the GB is over.

We had fights set up for 7pm, 9pm, and 10pm. Unfortunately the other Guilds didn't show up. However Vindictive provided awesome competition thanks for showing up.
Good fun, it was an excellent opportunity to watch our new recruits in action. Look forward to more fun with Gallowglass in the future!

The fact that this threat was even created and suggested towards eastbound is just funny. We have essentially a 10 man guild and we war'd a 60 man guild.. how does that make us scared? When the war was initiated we stood outside of the town and waited to 5v5 your guild.. though that never happend until about 15-20min later when you had a good 20 people so we went into town. Im sorry that you felt the need to zerg us instead of just fighting us, and then complaining on the forums.

We called in for help, they arrived, and we moved out of the safe zone.. but then you guys wouldn't do anything.

I view the whole GvG system as a fun thing to do. The wins and losses don't have much value so it doesn't matter if they can be "exploited". Most people should know that with very cheesy tactics such as killing a member and then staying in a safe zone, a guild of 2 people can defeat anyone.
To me it doesn't matter much so that's why I see no need to change the whole safe zone camping issue others have.
In my opinion if people want to fight they'll stay and fight. If they don't they'll just run away. I see no point in getting mad about it.
Whenever I'm out solo, I'll stay and fight anyone 1v1 to the death even when its clear from the start that I'm going to lose. Same thing with 2v1 and sometimes even with 3v1. Anything more than that I'll just head out since to me at that point there's no point in staying (unless I want a cheap port back to town =p).
I have always viewed GvG as death-match groups since everything depends on both sides agreeing on some rules for anything to happen at all. We might have a bit of hostility and frustration at first until people accept it.
Otherwise it'll just be 1v5 with 5 outside town and calling out the 1. Then that person calls in more people so it becomes 20v5 and the only thing that changes is who is standing where.
