Well, that's the problem. You can use the Chained Skills panel, you can set anything anywhere allowed. But it doesn't change the character behavior - chains remain old, default. In other words - "Chained Skills" feature can't be customized for a gunner.

E. g. - default chained skill for Scattershot is Rolling Reload. Let's check - using SS... wait, game chains Arc Bomb right after? Why? It should be RR!

Ok, let's try and switch RR to anything else - Mana Missiles, for example. Icon changes, checkbox can be removed, time is adjusting fine. All settings seems saved, we can see them when closing Skills window and opening it again. But... after using SS you won't get your spacebar Mana Missiles - you'll see Arc Bomb. Again. These can't be reconfigured. Not one of them.

Yes, I've seen this thread when searched google. It's not the full answer - Mana Missiles have hardcoded chain and Arc Bomb do have one too. Almost all gunner's usable skills are hardcoded - you can change only few, like basic Blast or HB/ST constructs.

As I understand, the "Chained Skills" guide on this site (http://tera.enmasse.com/game-guide/gameplay/ui-and-controls) is wrong, it contradicts the actual gaming experience - I can't set any skill to trigger after Mana Missiles except for hardcoded Arc Bomb. Moreover - the official support guy says that it's not a bug, it's a feature.

Ok, if this is a game feature, describe it - add info to the guide. Players should not have their brains damaged, trying to do the impossible.

To give you a fuller answer- I don't have the links to back it up but one of the players that translates stuff from ktera to English for us , things are getting adjusted to give better control but it is what it is for now.
Gunner is new, fun, but I think I have everything bound to a key/mouse now anyways. chaining with gunner in PVE hasn't brought me any problems. and the random ganker I run across in open map is where I start pushing skills for the situation gunner seems to be strong and more mobile then the rest of the classes reaper included. Time will only tell after the gunner's introductory phasing into the game has ended.

The gunner has a very aggressive set of hard coded chains. Some skills have more than one possible chain and will operate with a priority list.

Example:
Skill A is hard coded to chain to skill B, C, and D.
If skill B is not on cooldown, skill A will chain to it.
But if skill B is on cooldown, skill A will chain to skill C.
If skill B and C are on cooldown, skill A will chain to skill D.
If skill A also allows a user defined chain, you need skill B, C, and D to be on cooldown for your chain to pop up.

I really wish we could have got you guys a nice document to explain it all but the time was just not there.

They don't have any access to change the game code, if that's what you mean. That'd have to fall to BHS, as he explained here.
