On Serpentis Isle the quest called In Memoriam is simple. Just click on the grave and cause flowers to grow. Easy, but... It causes WAY WAY WAY too many flowers to grow. I have a very powerful graphics card on a very powerful computer, and basically I need to change channels after I do this quest so that I can continue to play in this area. Maybe it's only at high graphics settings, but there are way too many flowers created. I thought this had been toned down a while ago, but I have noticed it yesterday too.

Please tone it down about 2 orders of magnitude... ;)
Flowers are great, but we don't need enough to load a GTX 760 4GB card on Core i7 2600 with 16GB of main RAM.
Thanks,
ag

Heh, just had this issue happen to me yesterday. Normally I can run the game fine with 60-70fps in high graphics but upon coming to the area where the grave is I started lagging out terribly (framerate lag, that is). was getting sporatic 1-15 fps depending on where the camera turned and it took me a while to realize it was the damn grave/flowers causing it. My card is new, just got it not that long ago. way better than my last one. I don't have as powerful a PC as Alien here, but it's decent. Was starting to worry that it was overheating again like my poor previous card did (due to failing fans).

Anyway, this really does need a fix. Even without the flowers spawned yet, I was lagging like crazy because it was probably trying to draw all those polygons. After they were, well I didn't see a noticable difference (perhaps they're always there and just extend when the grave is activated?). I'm sure the issue has been around for a long time being that it's an old quest, but... it needs to be looked at, please. :(

That is normal for that area. Regardless of your machine it will drag you down. It is the only area I know of like that but everyone has experienced it. It is just one of those things not high on or not on the to do list.

I will escalate the issue.
