Who is Gush and What is Infamy?

Gush is an ex-federation soldier, a man that has seen his life crumble before him, but he bounced back. Originally a leader of a platoon for the Federation, Gush has had military training in leadership and tactics. His knowledge has helped Infamy thrive and grow to help the people of Arborea. But what exactly is Infamy? On the surface it could be considered a simple mercenary guild looking to make some quick gold by doing odd jobs, but to Gush Infamy means so much more. It is hope for the people that are overlooked, stepped on, pushed away or ignored. He understands that war is won by keeping morale high, keeping the soldiers in the fight. Vanarch means more to Gush than just the politics, it is about the people. Infamy is the masons, the carpenters, the shopkeepers, the soldiers and the citizens of Arborea. This about more than who the Federation deems worthy of protecting, this is about banding together and defeating a common enemy.

OOC:

Infamy is a medium RP guild, which basically means it's a RP guild that focuses on RP but it's not always required. We have our fun out of character and we are all pretty laid back. The guild as a whole has seen few incidents and those have been dealt with responsibly as well as maturely. It's unrealistic to say drama won't happen in a guild, especially a RP guild, but it's how you deal with the drama that makes the difference. Infamy's goal is to make a home for like minded individuals to achieve their goals in TERA. Whether it be through PVE, PVP, RP or other aspects of the game. We make our best efforts to accomodate everyone's interests and help them achieve gaming bliss. Infamy started as a small bunch of beta testers that has flourished into an ever growing family. Through tried and true methods of getting to know the members when they apply, it makes for an easy transition into the guild and an ultimately fun time for everyone.



Back to the topic on Vanarchy, when it comes to the OOC responsibilities of Gush and the guild, there are quite a few things that will be set as goals.

First, setting taxes and keeping them as low as possible. It is unclear of how low the taxes can go, whether they can be abolished or not, but Gush will do his best to keep it convenient for the players entering the region he watches over.

Secondly, the access of Shops, Teleportals and other useful NPCs that only the Vanarch can activate. There are some shops that can only be opened by the Vanarch, some very helpful shops. Gush will keep them open as best he can to help the ease of leveling, grinding, or what have you.

Lastly, there are rumors of Argon attacks that may happen in the region, it is the Vanarch's duty to protect the citizens. Gush and Infamy will be readily available to fend off the attacks. Gush will do his best to make himself available for all who enter his region, doing his best to aid in any way he can.

So when you find yourself voting for Northern Shara, and the Kaiator regions. Give Gush your consideration, and if you find yourself in Pathfinder Post in Val Tirkai check things out and let Infamy know how the region is doing.
