Hello, my fellow gamers. I've been noticing that there's a bit of finger-pointing at guilds here and there and it got me thinking. There's unrest and dissatisfaction among the general public on our realm. I do understand that not everyone will be happy, but I think that perhaps there are issues that are being overlooked and dismissed as unimportant. My suggestion is that we use this post as a means to address those issues as long as they come with justification and solutions.
As a member of Arbitrator, I will live up to the name and do my best to try and help work as a mediator so we can keep the wonderful community that I feel we generally keep. You guys are a great bunch and I'd like to see us all work with each other instead of tear each other apart.
This first election have much to be learned, and admired. NO other servers have such brilliance. Folks who moved here from other servers tell me this. Yet here, few bother to understand.
The server can't promote political brilliance with isolation and abstention. Failure to recognize brilliance itself is obvious.
On an individual basis, folks can see what they must. For many others, they rather follow the weak, meek, and pathetic - the dubious sort who's been hissing at what is nothing more than just a part of the game: the political system.
They hide behind keyboards, hoping for the best. To think that we are an RP server.
As a member of Lights Hope, with no political aspirations or declared guilds which we shall vote for, we also offer ourselves to mediation and endeavors of peace. Should our assistance be required by any who look to the ending of high tensions between guilds, we would gladly offer our campfire.
I have been paying attention and feel CH isn't much of a server right now. Not to say we shouldn't be proud. Gratz on winning best vanarch poster, by the way. However the thread to congratulate winning that contest had less people in it than those willing to participate in making negative comments on other threads, to the same individuals and guilds, including the RP area as CH tout itself. Sad to see.
What's more sad, is when I had to leave myfriends and guild because the gm told us to post negative comments about ED. I won't name names but to say it's totally dishonorable, what hypocrites. My guildies didn't mind doing it. They made things up and soon people from other guilds follow suit. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.
I hope things get better. Right now there are too many trolls on the forum and in the game.
We have so many trolls because they are all so well fed. I wouldn't want to leave/quit either if I was them... hell a few of them have groupies at this point... weirdest thing I've ever seen.
