After getting to know several members of the guild Dark Dawn, I have to say, they are one poisonous rattle snake.
For starters here, some of their members ARE GREAT. I won't name any names in this thread, but they know who they are.
But most of them are arrogant and self righteous, rumor mongering high school drama lamas. Again, I won't name any names. But they know who they are.
In a guild of about 5 or 6 active members at max though, the disparity between the good people and the bad people is seen way too plainly. They chased off one of their good members recently via use of lies and deceit; a good friend of mine at that who refused to leave them because she saw good among them. But in trying to press the rather poor leadership of the guild to recruit, or host events, or do anything besides let the guild die out, she became a figure of ridicule and insult, and left the guild.
One particular member continued to harass her via skype, to the point she began uploading various screen shots of their vulgar rumoring of other, more well known RP guilds, as well as their treatment of her, to me. At first I was skeptical, but upon trying to speak to their officers about their treatment of her and insults of guilds such as Salva Castanic, Empyrean Divine, Golden Lion and others, Iwas treated to a prompt F-U and was told I was being placed on ignore.
While I don't know all of them well, what I am told from my friend who left, and saw of their screen shots of all that has transpired the last few days, I am sickened. This Tera RP community is a vast, bustling community of some great guilds, awesome people, and epic fun. For one group to behave like this, and belittle other guilds in the process in an effort to keep their members as opposedto using fun to retain them, is a stain on the entire community.
But I guess it wouldn't be an MMO without a guild that puts every effort into griefing and insulting other people and other guilds, would it?
