Two Part post,

A) I vote for Dragon fall to be renamed to "Dramafail" after all this drama

and

B) Post in here if you want it all to just stop,

I've been away from tera for nearly two weeks, figuring that the bickering would stop, only to come back and see its still here, in full strength (if not stronger...)

It doesn't matter where you go. If there are people, there will always be drama. Dragonfall has majority of the PVE population now, so of course there will be drama. All you can do is either ignore it or move on. Just my opinion though :D

1. We're not the only server with vanarch drama.

2. When you place players in a situation like this, expect conflict and all that comes with it.

Also, try not clicking the drama threads?

Most of them have pretty apparent titles...

Drama is annoying, I agree. But you can mostly avoid it like the others said.

The only part of this whole vanarch vote alliance crud that gets to me is that it essentially says, "Hey scrub, your vote doesn't matter because we've got an A-L-L-I-A-N-C-E so puppy-puddles to you."

I like voting and what voting represents--you know, the whole, "government of the people, by the people and for the people" not by the selected groups for the malleable masses which is what all this SPECTRE/AZA drama makes it feel like.

Regardless, I'm interested in seeing how the GVG/kill and conquer aspect will mix up the third or so series of elections.

IMHO, the alliance thing can work both ways. My guild relied heavily on our alliance last round and one of our voting partners was perhaps not as active as everyone had thought. We fell behind and even though we campaigned hard to catch up, it was too little, too late and we lost. Our approach is much more hands on this time around and we're doing much better. The alliance is a comfortable safety net but not to be relied on as a gimme.

I was really sad to see the tactics guilds were using to try and sway players' votes. Instead of campaigning for themselves, some guilds felt it necessary to campaign against their opponents. Just a reminder for us that there are a lot of kids playing. I found the mudslinging extremely childish.

I have to say, I believe the drama was mostly one-sided if you read the threads...one side throwing out accusations and the other side defending themselves. It's all the same people stirring the pot and all the same people trying to keep a lid on it.

You have my vote for stopping the bash campaign and starting a self-promotion campaign.

There's two problems with that:

1. Both sides are doing it. The "callout" threads have been done by both sides and most always anonymously.

2. Self-promoting is always going to turn to contrasting yourself to your opponents, which means it's a roundabout way of saying "They're worse than us."

But I personally bow out of the whole mess.

As long as EME sees it fit to allow players to create hundreds of alt accounts they can post with, we'll never have anything resembling serious discourse on these forums because there will never be any accountability for the posts of people hiding behind alts.

I've been campaigning in the trenches talking to players in chat last election and this one. I know there are people who would vouch in a heartbeat that I only talk about our guild, how we feel about our responsibilities and what we can do to improve our community.

i think it stupid how they keep mudslinging/fighting to who is worst lol they just look like a bunch of 12 year old crybaby. so i think they stop stop whining like little kids and actually do something for the server if one side hold a big fun event the other side should hold an even bigger better event if one side give out free stuff the other side to give out more and better free stuff if they help people out with quests in dungeons the other side should help twice as many etc etc then if they just keep doing that the only thing there fighting would do is help the server instead of hurting it
