As I've been a bit behind in the community that has blossomed over the past week or so here on the official forums, I'm not posting this as an announcement of HEY LOOK WHAT I DID YOU MUST ALL USE AND BE IN AWE! It's more of a - "Hey guys, I've done this for another game and it worked out pretty well - and the server community here is even more awesome than that other game so it should be phenomenal in this case!"

Well, I was going to create an "Officially Unofficial Server Community" website for Dragonfall and our already awesome populace. I did this for the server I call home in SW:TOR and it was decently successful. With the large and actively posting Dragonfall forum here I think a server community would just help expand it even more. However, I know some people don't like to check multiple sites for their games, so that's why this is just an idea! (For now!)

I've already created a base site on Enjin (such a great tool for communities) at http://dragonfallserver.enjin.com with basic features and look. If this is something the community would want to use (hey! Basilisk Crag is doing it!), the site would only get that much better, complete with a custom domain and more. I was thinking something like wearedragonfall.com since dragonfall.com is taken. ^_^

tl;dr Would you guys like/use/abuse an officially unofficial community site to expand and culture the Dragonfall community? If so, I'm volunteering to admin it with the help of many community volunteers!

I hope this doesn't come off the wrong way... I think you are very talented, but uh... what would it provide that the forums we already have wouldn't?

Biggest thing I could think of would be the live chat box. Otherwise, forums are pretty much where it's at, I think...

More loosely moderated than official forums, image gallery/chatbox. Event planning calender... Separate forums for ease of organization (ie Intros, Guild Recruitment separate from the general chatter).
