So long story short I get home from work tonight only to find out some new douchbag recruit
decided it would be awesome to steal all the money from our guildbank and of course then leave. His name is EDITED " btw I'm sure he will be changing it soon or rerolling but there it is. Anyway normally yes our bank is always locked but it was opened temporarily because we where taking guild photos and we where trying to be nice and make it easy for everyone to get to the photo spot by just dumping port scrolls in the guild bank so everyone could gather quickly. Savagery.V decided this would be a great opportunity to show his true colors. "Hope the 4.7k was worth it savage,it's already been replaced just like you"

So anyway I of course contacted eme via live chat to see if anything can be done about this at all and this is the response i get:

I honestly have to say in over 13 years of playing mmo's this has to be the most insensitive and just plain cold response I have EVER seen from any GM in any game. This policy is pretty amazingly bad. I'm not even mad about the gold or the idiot who decided to take it. I'm very upset now with EME and how they go about handling things like this and I now am seriously questioning why I should continue playing and paying to support this game if this is how customers are treated. Had you taken our suggestions about how the guild bank works ingame it would prevent things like this from happening in the future. But I guess I know now that you guys honestly just don't care. I am glad to know that this is how it is because now i can act accordingly.

Had you taken your real life lessons about how the trust works in this universe it would prevent things like this from happening in the future. And according to EME policy, Savagery.V would make a great Vanarch!!!

Im not surprised by the troll response already and like i said im not concerned with the gold loss. We [filtered] up by not removing the gold b4 opening the bank sucks to be me. I am complaining about the policy on this when pretty much every other mmo will at least reimburse you upon an investigation into the matter. EME response is basically just "oh well!" That doesn't sit right with me. But go ahead and keep trolling there buddy.

Also i'm not sure if you are aware but in "real Life" if someone steals from your bank account the bank can and will actually give you your money back upon an investigation.

actually i think its smart. so other people do not guild the idiot. You however waisted 2mins of my life reading your response linnies. If you ever had money riped off you would know how it felt. The problem was we made a mistake. Lession learned. The response from the GM that took the complaint was pritty lame and I hope that anyone who is KS, griefed or has there accounts hacked do not look to EME and there team to help. They obviously do not care. It actually reminds me alot of how Aion handled there problems.

Wow. That's crappy. I suppose eventually expected, but still crappy. Well, the theft part is what I'd expect, as it happens all the time in any MMO... but the "sucks to be you, that guy should run for office" policy is certainly not what I'd expect.

Honestly, I prefer Sliph as a vanarch since we've seen the province have low taxes and NPCs actually running. I probably couldn't say the same if a thieving troll actually made it to office.. Oh, wait.. they own Bastion..

of course I shouldnt of expected much from a game who punishes there player base. I mean look at the vanarch system. Anyone with 3k gold and a alt guild can come in and be vanarchi and now I have to pay 15% tax to take a flight path in any of the nexus zones?! I mean really? I have to pay some jerk more money to fly so he can have a stupid mount and bragging rights cause he cheeted his way into vanarchy?! thats ok with EME? really?
