In the past few days since election, there had been massive amount of defamation attempts, lies, and general mud-sling by AZA members toward the SPECTRE alliance.

At this point, its been 3 days. Has any AZA member provide any evidence to support their claim? No.

To clear up the misunderstanding and as the new Head of Alliance since NMTC and Bianca (from NMTC who created SPECTRE, the previous head of the Alliance) can no longer be in SPECTRE due to real life issues, I, Valentio will be posting the inside news and facts from SPECTRE.

First, let's clear a few things up.

Q: 1. Did Valentio exploit for votes during election?
A: Nope, I am trying to contact En Masse Community team to see if they can also clear this up for me.
Note: To claim that I have exploited for votes without evidence is like saying "Obama won the presidency through cheating, I don't know how, but he cheated." Provide proof before you accuse.

Q: 2. Is SPECTRE alliance planning to raise taxes?
A: Nope, all Guild that are at 1% in the SPECTRE alliance wish to remain 1%, and to serve the Dragonfall community.
Note: Saying SPECTRE will raise taxes without evidence is like saying "If Putin wins re-election, he is going to raise Taxes for the Russians. I have no proof, but I know they will do it". Silly.

Q: 3. Why do AZA hate you guys so much?
A: Simple, political power struggle. They want the high level zones, so do we. Is our ideology different? Not that much, we both want to serve the Dragonfall community, and make everyone's gaming experience better. (At least I hope that is what they want to achieve) But it hurts to see that AZA and members of AZA cannot win election in 1st place, and attempts to mud-sling, defame, and lie to this extend is disappointing.

This is the official response from SPECTRE to AZA and all Dragonfall community.

And now, if at all possible, I ask AZA to start thinking of HOW you can help the Dragonfall community instead of spending so much time on "How to put SPECTRE" down.

Try to host events like us. Try to serve the community, try to listen to the player's suggestions! And no, not only on the dragonfall community forum, but in-game and on this forum too. Lets focused on the facts, and not the election results. Try to make Dragonfall a better place, not worse. The community does not need more mud-sling or drama. It does not need more blatant lies without proof.

The Dragonfall Community players need FACTS. Not fiction. If you can find any evidence, hard evidence to support your claim, please do provide them, otherwise, stop wasting time on attacking us, and figure out how to make Dragonfall a better place.

For anyone else that is curious, what is SPECTRE about?

SPECTRE is a group of guild that banded together and wish to make Dragonfall a better community. AZA have guilds banded together for votes. SPECTRE too. The original SPECTRE is Bianca's brainchild, from No Matter The Cost, when guilds are rallied during Open Beta to vote for each other for political leverage.

Since then, SPECTRE has evolved to something more, something bigger, something profound.

It is our mission to make Dragonfall a better place by insuring the Vanarchs are doing what they need to be doing, if not, they will never get Vanarchy again.

It is our Vision to see Dragonfall players come together, less drama, less QQ, and more enjoyment of the game.

At the end of the day, TERA is a game, and most of us play this for fun. Why do some people feel the need to attack another person, group, or alliance just so they can get on top? I am not so sure. But here in SPECTRE, we ask our members to not mud-sling or attack others. Instead, let's focus our energy on the next event we can bring Dragonfall.

Together, we can make Dragonfall fun and great gaming community.

So I ask the SPECTRE members to ignore any lies, defamation attempts and mis-information people are going to throw our way. We do not have time to waste on trivial matters. If they want to "inform the community of what SPECTRE is 'really' up to", I know the community will also demand hard evidence from them.

Until you can provide evidence, any attempt to mis-lead Dragonfall players with lies need to stop, as the answers can be found here already.

This is also a call for us to think about what's important: How to give back to the Dragonfall Community ones we are vanarch. So please stop putting all your time and energy in flaming, forum war or coming up with clever lies, and more time and energy in helping Dragonfall to become a better place.

Good to hear something straight from the mouth of SPECTRE.

Speculation and rumor can be set aside for the most part, as all the evidence needed is in game currently. 1% tax rates, and great events are already happening, and sounds like they'll continue.

I'm not directly involved with the politics in Heartwood Knights, I think of myself as more of an administrator but I do hear updates of the meetings from Nyssa.
We are really proud of our guild and our principles and it reassures me to know that the member guilds of SPECTRE share our dedication to the ideals of using our time as elected officials to enhance the game experience for players in our provinces.
I'm excited by the idea of player generated content and the potential for a real, dynamic community working together in our virtual world.
You've stated so well all the things I really believe to be true about our motives for seeking Vanarchys.

YES - It has been on talks during SPECTRE meetings, that the taxes should be raised from the swinging 3-7% in appropriate zones - IF it was possible to make the community realize and be okay with this.

How it was going to play out was: As soon as the entire alliance ruled a continent, we could do with it pretty much what 'we wanted to'. In short saying: Even if the community didn't like the idea, we could still do it.

NOTE: Please EVERYONE - Do take note of the ' IF's ' In this reply - I'm not looking to hang out anyone here, I'm just clarifying.

But as Valentio also said - SPECTRE has changed (How much - I don't know, to what? I don't know either) and as far as I can figure out - they'll be keeping the 1% taxes.

I'm being unfair here.

As long as spectre sticks to its 1% tax rate and keeps the bloody services up, I have no issue with them.

I, Destian, co-GL of Bloodmoon Chosen of Dragonfall, do hereby declare that if the taxes of a province controlled by Bloodmoon Chosen or any guild I have control of or have joined are not lowered to 1% within the first 24 hours of coming into control of said province and then kept there for the remainder of the term, I give the server full permission to petition a GM to have me forcefully removed from the server and my account banned.

Should I attempt to change my identity to escape this binding contract, should I appear on Dragonfall or any other server under a different name, title or should my influence be felt upon another individual who has control over a province, I grant the people of Dragonfall full permission to employ the assistance of a GM or other EME staff in determining if I am indeed the same individual posing under a different name and give them the right to remove me from the server and ban my account.

Should I use another individual or guild as a proxy for any of the aforementioned offenses, all punishments stand accordingly and I will be treated as if I personally was responsible for said offenses.
