Just like what you think we are.
You can tell that from our forum posts and our website.
We like to have fun, and that is the reason why our guild is so successful in retaining our playerbase. We don't need to merge, we don't spam recruitment in game or in forum, people simply want to join us from words of mouth.
We don't pretend to be all "srsbizniz" and promising the same stuff like everyone else.
Lower Taxes? Well of course, this is a free market game. Meaning you go to the best location that offers lower prices on the specialty shop and broker fee.
Why would you pay an additional 100g to enchant your stuff when you can fly down to somewhere else for 10s? Or put an item up with a huge broker fee of 10%?
Open shops, broker, and trainers? Well duh? What...Just leave the town with nothing in it to generate revenue? Is anyone this dumb to do this?
Anyway, what is the point of having the highest praises on the server?
We can convert them into policy points, and keep all these shops open throughout the 3 weeks.
We are also a very active guild, probably one of the most, if not the most, active guild based on playerbase from various lvl ranges.
So doing these vanarch and guild quests are a breeze to us when we need to collect more policy points.
See...Serious stuff...Oh wait, that the same stuff everyone is saying.
Very boring, it is all the same "politic" or rather "fake" stuff people are programmed to write like if this is some serious and real political system.
So yes, we like to have fun and create an enjoyable environment for our guild and for everyone else.
And to be honest, our guild will always be like that.
We don't pretend to take this game "seriously" because we, and probably you, already know in the end this is a game after all.
It is to play with people you like playing with.
It is to join a guild that you believe will be your home.
And overall, it is to have fun and create memories that you will take with you when you leave this MMO sometime in the future.
After seeing what was posted in the vanarch discussion thread, I became... curious. It seemed like a really fun guild that stands out from the crowd of srsbizniz.
Then I also noticed the ad in their guild listing specifically recruiting for level 60s... I wasn't completely sure what this meant, but it gave me the impression that if I, a newer player in this game with only lower level characters, were to try to apply I would probably be denied or shunned.
I'm still not entirely sure of where I stand but the effort made in this thread defused a lot of my concerns. Still looming over my head though is the question, "who are you?"
