To all the small guilds out there

Knowledge is generic and ignorance is specific. Apparently, it is true today that a person can be knowledgable enough to be elected president of a guild and ignorant enough to think that he can wage war successfully.......

Even though there are a handful of guilds with large numbers, there are a lot more provinces than there are guilds with the mass of an army. Leather and Lace is not worried, last I counted before OB ended there were like 6 or 7 with +100 members.

Between now and the first elections for vanarch seats I am willing to bet a few guilds will merge to form larger guilds in an attempt to give the front-runners in terms of mass a run for the seat.

However, there will still be more seats than the Larger guilds can fill as only 1 Guild-master per province.

With that being said, we at leather and lace will offer support to those that meet and follow similar values as us, however we will not merge, and lose who we are and what we stand for.

Thank you

So what's the difference between a large guild and a bunch of small guilds who band together for the sake of power? :)

And who's to say that the larger guilds are in it for power and not the greater good of the community? Not all guilds are looking for control so that they may hinder others' progress, but to keep control away from other large guilds, so that the smaller guilds have equal oppurtunities.

The issue is not the use of power. Honestly, Vanarchs can't do that much. It's more of an experience than anything. The main issue is, it is part of this game and something that many people are interested in. So when large guilds monopolize the vanarch seats, people who don't like large inefficient groups don't get to experience that facet of the game. The number of people on a server is finite and large guilds sucking up members and getting them to vote for only them reduces the number of people that can be vanarch.

I plan on making a collective of several exclusively small guilds that will vote together to out vote them and lead to fair and often rotating vanarchs. (in no way am i trying to prevent large guilds from getting vanarch, I am simply trying to create a fair system that works out for every one. Selfish guilds will be identified and dealt with very easily with this system.)

I'm not even gonna bother posting as much as my predecessors. Lets keep it simple, I was approached by one of the number guilds and after their impatient idiocy, I declined them. In return, I am holding a political meeting for the medium-small guilds of the server so we can uphold power over Dragonfall. its fine if the numbers guilds have a few in power, they'll never have an exarch.

Luminous Force is hosting this event and a few guilds, which shall not be named on here, have already RSVP'ed.

All are welcome on our Teamspeak server ahead of time if you have any questions.

Looking for serious pve and pvp guilds to join our Political alliance to keep the number alliance low in power.
