Round three of the Vanmalarkey is over. A troll guild "Zeal" got a zone, the Bastion area. They raised the taxes to 15% and left all shops closed. There is also a "Zeal B" guild that has a zone. Who wants to bet they cheated their way in?

They won GvG Vanarchy. They didn't cheat.

But who did they beat? Zeal B? If Zeal did GvG on Zeal B, isn't that win trading with yourself?

No, you only fight with the ones running in the same continent.

They won by default in Val Kaeli.

Most vanarchs won by default this time around because nobody really wants to run anymore. Aside from vanarch mostly being a waste of time, a lot of guilds are down on members due to people quitting and know they can't stack the voting enough to win against the 300 member guilds.

But good for Zeal; nobody will take their guild seriously again, and people will just use scrolls or ability teleport to avoid Bastion shops like the plague. It's not like there's any compelling reason to stay and shop in Bastion, it's not like the guilds who trolled lower level areas. Instead of making a small amount of taxes, they will make nothing at all.

I love all the hate from people who didn't even take 5 minutes to read about how vanarch works lol.

Any I'm glad that no one will take us seriously; we don't even take ourselves seriously. It's just a game :)

That's why they recently patched Ktera to leave all special NPCs open when there are no vanarchs running for that region. Since it became more of a hassle than being a real benefit of being a vanarch that nobody really wanted to run it anymore.

>:] zeal is casual, coming from the boss himself.

Again, not really about troll vanarchs, just troll vanarch system that has no real benefit besides e-peen.

...... That doesn't make sense. How can the system be the one that's the problem when you're the one determining the tax rates?

Scrolls are cheap, especially by the time you get to Bastion...
