Not a fan of communities that cause division of gender/race whatever.

It's damn insulting.

Sure you want to meet girls but who the hell is to say you will have ANYTHING in common besides having [filtered]s? Who is to say you can't meet a guy who you can get along with just as well as any girl, IF NOT BETTER?
Why does it have to be a girl?

Girls always find a way to do this crap with stupid excuses like "Oh but we're helping the girls who find it hard to make friends/relate with guys" Really?
Why don't you see guys doing this? They just don't care who they play with.
Which is how it should be.

Would you really type in game "Looking for girls to play with" ?
No, because it's stupid.
Being in a community like this pretty much is saying the same thing.
Even if it does include some guys (which makes it pretty pointless) the "girl gamer" focus causes a divide and that is never good.

In the end it only ever seems like a cry for attention and the need for females to let their gender be known.

Man. You're good. You just know all the intentions of every female who games. All of them looking to indulge in a female community are in need of attention.

I guess the Fragdolls are just in it for attention as well as PMS Clan. Oh and the guys over at H2O must be in it for attention too. *rolls eyes*

Lol ok sure, ignore everything else I said and focus on the one thing which was merely an observation I never said applied to all females. It's what I've learned from *MY* experience.
I never said I knew the intentions of anyone. Especially not every female who games.
If you can read, my whole post is about how I'm baffled as to why girls create these guilds and can't just stfu and get along with guys, just like the guys do. You pretty much misunderstood me and explained nothing. Hooray.

Are you saying this is the reason (or one of the reasons) for the female only guilds, in your opinion? Because men say this stuff? Does a huge guild of women really stop them from saying it, though? Lol. Eh, it's making a little more sense to me, even if it's not something I would particularly do myself.

Nope just something I have noticed and taken into consideration. I am speaking in general as personally I prefer playing with male AND female gamers. I'm not a member of this site the OP linked either. I just know the creator of the site from playing Aion with her.

I just think that if a girl is attracted to one of these sites then she has a good enough reason to not have to explain why she wants to be a member.

I run a site like this I won't name it since I find it rude to advertise in this thread. But it's a site for woman who game and if a guy wants to join I don't deny him. It isn't for attention or dating or even a place to feel safe. I think of it more so as a hang out. Like going to grab a cup of coffee with the girls for brunch. I started it because my husband was always deployed and we moved a lot so it was hard to keep a friend. The people I have met not just females I consider to be great friends.

Now I have been a member of a few girl only sites that I very quickly left due to tons of drama. But don't just mark them all out with black marker because some of them are bad eggs.

I didn't mean to come off as rude I just feel like people should be able to join something if it interests them without having to feel bad about themselves. :)
