Hi TERA Community,

as you all probably know, one of the innovative features of TERA is the political system which enables you to rule over a province or even a whole continent. In power you can achieve glory and prestige but the duty of responsibility will always weigh heavy on your shoulders and the pressure of decisions will be a constant companion of your leadership.

I'm working on a new gaming community for which we want to develop dedicated features for upcoming heavy hitters such as TERA. We want to ask you, which tools you would like to see on a gaming website to organize your political campaigns and governance. I have started a discussion on our website and would like to invite you to tell us your ideas for cool ways to integrate TERA's political system in our project.

If TERA NA doesn't offer some sort of API in regards to characters/items etc, it'd be hard for any fansite to take off (unfortunately).

I'm not sure how kTERA government system works, but with taxes, I assume they can be allocated in certain areas, perhaps some sort of government objective and promises, and a record of they're achieved or promises broken etc.

Thanks for your respond. I think a API would be really usefull but is not a must have to create a feature for the TERA-community e.g. when we now what you can turn on as a Vanarch we can make a poll system what allows a vanarch to ask the other players what is usefull.
If he is not able to rule wise and is only making selfish decisions I think he will not get enough political points to rule for a very long time.
We thought about features like that which are making the organisation of the political system easier for the gamers.

a flash list of what guilds are currently at war (per server) with half of box showing current rankings within the system as to guild postion in election. Links on each guild to ranking list with a per provice feature and a overall list to be compiled after each election. Each term being listed as a referance like predictions for the stock market as a seperate (static) forum.
