We all know that communities will evolve. Right now it seems that the individuals that remain are the people that want to be here. I feel the same way as Outt about the Cheers "everybody knows your name" feeling. Before it was quite a few guilds that didn't even know every member WITHIN their ranks.
The politics in this game have always interested me. I didn't really know about it till after i started playing, and now I am like that IRL political loser that sits back and watches it all unfold, clicking on all the CNN links to see who is doing what and when. I was in Tranquility for a while to see the internal/external issues. I saw that the split there was inevitable. I have had my favorite guilds and the ones I despise. It saddens me to see the lack of Vanarch positions getting filled and the guilds losing interest after they win.
It is up to those that remain to pick it back up. One day you shall probably see us (Soldiers of Light) up there with you. After we fill some ranks and get our feet wet a little more.

I say we need to host some server wide organized events. I mean I am not saying we will just do DMs I mean events big enough so that guilds will need to use GvG and have large scaled pvp. And afterwards just use surrender. This server has a community strong enough to be able to get this done, and I am sure after doing this for some time people will see it and want to come from other servers. Feral Valley doesn't have zerg guilds that take 3 provinces at a time, so we have the opportunity to have many small guilds grow, become strong, and compete just as well as the large guilds. I know the guild Over Dose who we do lots of stuff with is looking to expand right now, they have a strong core of players and its just about that time for them to expand. Small guilds all across the server just have to start posting on the forums, and getting their name out there!

I did too, I checked out the other servers to see what the hype was about for all the xfer's and I saw Soup on there, the numbers were small though. I also saw that all of the guilds that left for the "competition" are all getting their a@@'s stopmed in the gvg's on the other servers.

I started on JC...it's not terrible having a lot of people, it's great when leveling, but FV has a good amount of end-game players, so you don't notice it as much until you start an Alt. Then it's lame...but every MMO is like that at some point.

I wouldn't count on Feral Valley's lower player base to save it in the end, when the more established guilds' 60s are busy camping every area that people level in. Little end game equates badly for people trying to get there, especially on a PvP server. You can't even do same level PvP, because the baddie that you just stomped qq's to the 60s, who come in and start griefing.
If you want your community to thrive, you need to do more than just beg the 60s to stop trolling each other. You need to build your COMMUNITY, a majority of which is NOT level 60 and sitting in some random area, ganking people because they're either not good enough to run PvE/PvP content or are bored of running PvE/PvP content.
