Well said Zaggath :) New found respect for you, nice to see you're willing to put in work to create a better server instead of just rolling out.

I 2nd Psychi's comment. While we're the smallest PVP server, we have a much stronger community and it's one of the main reasons I have not transferred. I really enjoy getting to know everyone I play with on this server. The more I see of the main contributors and players it makes me feel great to be a part of FV. Appreciate everyone on FV! We have to keep up the great community and continue to innovate to make FV awesome!

Quick Kudos to the numerous people that messaged me last night after posting a LFD to fill our last spot for FoK.

Kind Regards,
Eziel

Thanks guys.

I can not find many disadvantages to a low population server in Tera, however here are a few that might be popular:

1. Hard to find open world PvP. -
Since there are no real benefits for open world pvp it's mostly a gank fest. I for one, enjoy doing my dailies and farming without having to worry about getting ganked. (I play a priest anyways...lol)
I would agree that the players who enjoy farming lumber town or ganking people while questing/grinding/doing dailies, would find a low pop server a disadvantage. Thats not my playstyle.

Last night was one of the most fun nights I've had in a while. There was a GvG between Soup and Last Exile planned, but due to a few issues on LE's side we had postponed it. Instead we started off by just randomly assigning teams in a large death match with soup, LE and random other people outside kanstria. It was a blast! After a while it ended up in a 10v10 death match between soup and le for several rounds. Won some lost some, it was a good time.
Every GvG i've been in has been problematic for several reason, (gquit before death, gquit for 24 hours, hiding in safe zones... ect).
This death match was fair and organized. MORE PLEASE.

2. Hard to find groups for quests/Bams.
To an extent...
If you are having real trouble, ask the vanarch guild for help. I know I've helped a bunch of groups who needed a healer in our old essenia province and in Veritas.
For me, bam quests are more of a guild activity.
Realistically, I believe pugging quests is about the same everywhere, it just takes forever.

3. Instance finder fixes the problems with dungeon groups. . .

4. Higher price on items on trade broker.
Much of this is bring mitigated due to the free server transfers and the mass amount of people bring things over from JC, BC, and VoT. All it takes is a lvl 11 alt, you can xfer once a week.

Feral Valley still has it's share of Zerg guilds and guild drama though.
What is nice is the ability for smaller guilds to be elected vanarch, something that is impossible on larger servers, in this regard FV has a nice advantage.

Feral Valley also has a better community, hands down.

If you are considering xfering to another server, remember that the grass is not alwyas greener on the other side. But you can always xfer back in 7 days anyhow. I know of people who have taken week long vacations to other servers to buy gear, more power to them.
When Battlegrounds comes out, we'll be ready.

My own post, TL&DR!

Summary? Feral Valley Rocks!

I'm not sure what is worse...

his guy's ability to write the English language.

or his inability to understand how bad he really is.
