this guy name (edited) was boting ore yesterday in Khanovar Front, my guildie killed him and he was dead in that spot for like 2 hrs then just went to different spot, Today I saw him while doing dailies and boting again in different spot..already reported and hope solution for people who bot is not temporary..should be permanent specially if u talk to their Guild Master in private to stop his member from doing it and the only answer you can get is " I don't care"

I don't know why you must post this here if you already reported the player...and this will probably get closed fairly quickly with it being against the forum rules. And I know the GM pretty well that I don't think it was a simple "I don't care" from him. Seems there is probably more to the story than just that. Again this will probably get deleted or locked.

I don't like this any more than you do, on all kinds of levels.

However I am reminded of EvE online and how you had macro miners. The community took care of them by have a once a year Hulk-a-thon (or something to that effect), where the playerbase went out and killed any Mining Hulks they saw. It actually was a great thing for the community because it increased the demand for the raw minerals that made the hulks etc. etc. Sounds like your guild member did the right thing by killing him.

I know that botting is not something that we want to have in Tera. Honestly though what he is doing is not going to make him a ton of gold. Botting mining nodes is trivial at best, considering that 1 run in a dungeon will net you more for less time involved.

If yo bot, you'll get caught and thrown out of the game. Consequences are Consequences. So no, I didn't/don't care because it will catch up to them.

Just like I don't care about someone smoking Meth, I won't tell him not to do it, because there's no succesfull ending to it.

You've reported it, if it's found to be true, then action will be taken by Tera. As of now, he speaks in gchats and bull[filtered]s around. So Tera/EME will deal with it since you've followed the course.

I agree with Aziel as well. Dont cause unnecessary drama within the server. Report him, thats all you can and should do.

Btw, LMAO Rhino, I just read the first part of your post, and must have missed it the first time through.

One thing that is weird about your story Angelic Slayer is that if your character dies does he not auto res in 30 mins so how would he be there for 2hr dead? Sounds like alittle exaggerating in an attempt to make Seven sound bad just report and move on.

Is blacklisting or mentioning names even allowed on the forums? I need to re-read the ToS, but in most games it isn't...
