Greetings Potential Guild Mate,
The following is a brief description of who we are, our goals, who I am, and who would be a great fit in The Network.
If at the end of this synopsis you feel that you are a like minded individual, we encourage you to /apply The Network in game, or search through guilds using your Social button, look up The Network, and hit the Apply button.
And if you are in another guild, but like our concept, then we encourage you to hit the Praise button!
Who We Are:
We are an Adult only gaming community. This means 18 and older is our accepted age ranges.
We are currently a "start up guild" that will progress together in PVE, PVP, GVG, and Politics. We will learn the game together, through levelling, experiencing dungeons, BAM'S, PVP events, and theorycrafting.
We are a mixture of college students, entrepreneurs, young professionals....old professionals...and those who work from home. We are a vast culture of gamers from all over the world and our events both PVP and PVE will cover the entire 24 hours. We will have dedicated Generals capable of leading events for both our US gamers and those "across the pond" gamers.
We are respectful of our fellow gamers, and we do not salivate like dogs over every female gamer that plays with us. Women gaming with us does make our experience in game and in Teamspeak/Ventrilo better, but they are not objects to be guffawed over as if you've never met one IRL.
Our Goals:
We intend to be Semi-Hardcore with a real life comes first attitude. We will develop an event and raiding schedule that allows people from all time zones to enjoy the game to the fullest, and while we will not spend 40 hours a week "grinding raids". When we do raid, it will be all business.
PVP: We intend to participate in all of the PVP encounters the game has to offer, as well as maintain a consistent, and healthy competitive GVG environment. There will almost always be a GVG battle going on, and we will participate in these events in good sportsmanship. There will be no "forum trolling or pvp" from fellow Networkers.
PVE: We wish to experience all that the game has to offer both in current content and future expansions. We shall be progressive and consistent in our progress through all dungeons and BAM's, however we shall do so at our pace. It is NOT our goal to be "number 1 ubers" on the server. We will be content with being in the top 10 guilds, and still maintaining our real life responsabilities, relationships and dreams.
GVG: We intend to make full use of the GVG system and we will strive to look for other good natured guilds to have healthy competitions with.
Political: We will be methodical in our Guild Questing and Levelling, and it is our dream to one day become appointed the Vanarch of a zone. When this goal is achieved the entire guild will benefit. This is not a guild where the Guild Leader....gets all the glory and loot/items/gold. We are the sum of our parts. We are The Network

Who I Am: I am a 35 year old father of 2, and business owner. I work from home and will often times be in game throughout the day monitoring the progress of our guild and helping to keep the recruiting and progression going. I currently live with my girlfriend and she also has a daughter, so on some days I'll have 3 rampaging little girls through our house...(ages 8, 5 and 4). It's a handful but it has taught me volumes of patience that I never knew existed. :)
I have been playing MMO's avidly since 1999 and my journey began on the Rallos Zek server back when you could PK people and loot their items.
I've been building businesses, leading guilds, and raising children for a combined 15 years of experience, and I have the patience and skillset to build this clan from the ground up, and the wisdom to know that without competent Generals, no organization succeeds for long.
You will not need to fear a "power hungry" Monarch leading The Network. By surrounding myself with some of the best and the brightest gamers in the Tera community, I will assure our success.

Mature adult gamers, looking to enjoy a fulfilling experience in the world of Tera as we explore all facets of the game together.
Those gamers who do not neglect their real life responsibilities for a game, but whom have a healthy mix of computer time, with reality time.
And most importantly, those who fully realize that as we progress both in game, and through real life.......that success comes not from "what you know".....but "who you know".
