Homosexual, this is my final response to you because you have terrible reading skills. I thought my sentence structure and word usage was deliberate enough to leave little room for misinterpretation of the meaning of my post. Obviously not, so I'll use simpler words and shorter sentences for you.

In summary, your life style is not the problem. You claim NOT to throw your life style in people's faces. Your name throws it in people's faces. Going off of that, I said, people COULD assume you were a zealous homosexual. I didn't accuse you of being one. But, that is the first impression EVERYONE would get from your forum name alone.

It's strange social etiquette that you want everyone's first impression of you to be -homosexual-. Why can't you be a PERSON first and have a forum name that identifies you? Instead, you throw your life style out as your identity. Poor form.

You should be a person with a name first. Then, your life style is a part of who you are. I don't know how to say that any simpler.

The Network has players of all different types of sexual orientations and we all fit in and work together quite well.

The entire problem with your application or intention to apply was/is and will be your choice of name. Homosexual as your character name does too strike me as one and the same of the religious bible thumper who wants to show up and preach Jesus to me until I'm sick in the face.

(Whether or not I believe in God....."I do btw"......is not in question. But the point is that most people who know me have no clue about my religious viewpoint. I don't wear it on my sleeve or shove it down peoples throats.)

It's the fact that it would be thrown in my face that I do not wish to be around.

If two of the Leadership in the Network immediately had the same response to your "choice of name" then perhaps instead of calling our guild "closed minded" you should ask "why is that their impression of me......am I calling out for un-due attention?"

The Network has no drama whatsoever, and as such if a name just screams out "attention [filtered]".....I'm not having it.

Other examples of names that would not make it into the guild:

"Hitler"
"DogKiller"
"Jesus"
"Mormon"
"Satanworshipper"

You get the idea right?

Now the players behind those names might well indeed be good individuals.

But we're not going to waste the 10 minutes and the possible headache drama of it all when we don't have to.

If you choose a name that immediately gives other people reactions.

Ask yourself why you chose it.

I'd like to thank Anavar for the clear up, The Network is most likely a nice guild with not "close-minded" people.

If my name prompts others attention, that is there issue.
Whilst this is no issue for myself. Because it is what it is and however you look at it. My ign is just a Word. Why this has somehow stimulated your mind to think anything other than this well. That is your own problem.

No matter how you look at it. You still judged me before trying to work with me, says alot about a guild leader.
