I keep hearing all these horror stories about servers filled with elitist filtery filters, but honestly have never really encountered any of these issues on this server. Freeholds is so friendly! I've checked out a few other servers and there just hasn't been that community vibe...

Have I just had great luck, or do other Freeholdsians feel the same way?


And do any of you guys go out of your way to help new players when they run into trouble and/or have questions? I know that I personally will backtrack on alts to help lowbies with their quests if I'm in the area, and will sometimes just sit around and answer questions in area chat. I find it really enjoyable.

And yeah the community on Freeholds has been pretty good from my perspective.

I love this server too. I think it's because we're one of the smallest, if not the smallest population-wise.

The players are great and so friendly. They share loot with each other like it's more important to help the community than to make tons of gold off their nice drops. (There are a few overpriced things in the Broker though)

Although my ride here in the forums have been rough, the same players I've struggled with here in the forums are extremely nice to me in the game (Probably because they don't know my IGN anymore).

I have characters in about every top guild of the game and there is very little drama (some, but little) between themselves.

Great server.

I've had fun on this server, even the chat trolls are good natured for the most part. I Tried out celestial hills with a friend last week,,,,,talk about of of c-bags.....then again it was a rp server and I wasn't "keeping" in character in chat.....

I just started playing this game and I've never seen such friendliness in an MMO before. I'm level 40 now and I plan on staying on Freeholds. Only problem with the place is not enough dueling around cities lol. Oh well. :)

I would like to share your sentiment about the Freeholds server. Rosaelyn (my significant other) and I (Edhin) have enjoyed our stay here so far. We have been playing on Freeholds less than a week.

I have seen some trolling in channels (LFG and Area) and I have even joked with some of them, which is a welcome change as most trolls typically will try and troll you back for crimping their troll "style." I consider that healthy as I joke around with my friends IRL.

Freeholds is far from a dying server. New players and guilds are joining and transferring every day. Our server status just increased to Medium about a month ago and more have joined since.

Agreed. Freeholds, is far from a dead server. But whatever, trolls will be trolls I guess.
