Some rumors are apparently being spread around. I'm sure it's just mudslinging, but either way I would like to touch the subject.

Someone confronted me today accusing me of having 10% taxes and no vendors for a week. At no point and time did we ever have 10% taxes, furthermore I have not even been vanarch for a week. Taxes are the same as they were when I set them on Friday June 1st. However the vendors were down Sunday, Monday and Tuesday due to my CPU burning out. and Vendors were immediately put back up once I was able to log in.

Vendors are currently paid for up until June 11th at some point before that date we will extend them another week.

unfortunate about your compy, but with that said, vendors were still down. Regardless of how you spin the unfortunate circumstances of your computer, the vendors being down, even for a limited time, still pissed off a bunch of people.

Maybe in the future you could let us know on here when you cant log into game, and before you start the "My computer burned out"....any good guild run by decent officers has a way to contact the other officers outside of the game. Text message, computer at work, computer at public area such as library, computer lab etc etc etc.....I've always been able to txt or email from my phone the other officers of guilds i have been apart of in the past.......communication goes a long way..

Seeing as it took you 5 days to reply to this thread and this thread got roughly 20 - 30 hits per day. I don't think posting on the forums mounts to much on this server in consideration of communication.

My officers were aware of what had happened and they were informing people in game when asked or saw someone asking why the vendors went down.

As for a bunch of people being pissed, I made sure to make daily announcements as to why vendors were down. Only one person gave me the slightest bit of hostility or negativity in concerns to vendors being down. Everyone else was giving thanks.

Most people understand the difference between being lazy and an unfortunate circumstance that is beyond someones control. After all, this is a game..
