Ok, first off let me say I never rant on forums, so I apologize if this comes off as a jerk move.
As we all know the servers have been down for maintenance (This happens with all MMOs so it’s no surprise)
We also know it was extended a couple of times and as far as I’m concerned, for a brand new game this is still reasonable. This is not to be unexpected; things go wrong with a launch, or even during maintenance. They have said themselves there was a bug they were trying to fix.
No big deal.
What I’m ranting about is the masses of people who were demanding compensation for the downtime, and being pretty damn rude about it.
TERA stated that this is not part of the paid subscription, this is still free time. So why all the anger towards people who are trying to fix a game so you can play without problems?

Personally, I’m in Aus and I was up at 4am to play. I couldn’t. I didn’t get mad, I got coffee – then I looked into it and saw why it was still down and understood that s*** can go bad.
Don’t get me wrong, a lot of people were very nice and understanding about it, and I can understand why some would be a little annoyed. But abusing TERA on twitter and demanding compensation is just stupid.
I’m sorry if this offends, but for a company that is trying to make a great game work for us, save us from bigger issues later on when we -have- paid for time and have so far been fantastic, they are copping a lot of abuse they shouldn’t be.

Some people just don't get it.

I agree with everything you said. However, I am a bit upset that on the main page it says that maintenance is over even though the servers are still down, and I'm sure there are more people that are angry about that than about the actual maintenance.

I am on the same page as Primalgoose.

Primalgoose, stop making so much sense. You're going to make it seem like we have some good community members.

I stopped caring about that. Some people will just rage at anything if given the opportunity to.

I've been locked out of the game since yesterday because something's wrong with the subscription on my account. I'm also behind all my friends now, in terms of level.

Regardless, I'm just thankful I managed to get through the long Live Chat queue to talk to someone about it. ;_;

I work in an IT department and can 100% understand that stuff happens and things never EVER go as planned.

People just need to calm down, take a step back and breathe sometimes.
