For some reason I have a feeling that only Guild Masters will be the only ones that will win the political side of this game. How do I know this? It's because it's obvious lol. No GM is gonna sit idly by (unless of course that certain GM just doesn't care) and watch as one of his guild mates becomes the "King". Call it a hunch but I predict guild kicks / guild trolls that won't vote for anyone but their GM or key person in the guild. I also believe that unless no one knows who the person is behind the, let's say Aman Slayer, there most likely not be that many women leaders. Personally I don't care who becomes "King", but as long as they can't alter my gameplay to the extent where I do no want to play the game, all the power to ya people!
There are 19 regions in Tera, each can be ruled by 1 Vanarch / Guild Leader.
there will never be just 1 ruler of them all.

I'm pretty sure you didn't know it due to your post OP, but only guild leaders can run for Vanarch/Exarch. Therefore, you won't have guild mates running. And why wouldn't women make it in? If anything, in MMOs I think women have a better chance due to the nature of many males cater to the women players.
Exarchs Lobs :P they have some role against vanarchs i believe but yes they will constantly change with what every two weeks ? or 3 weeks since one week for voting o.O? But king (nice fitted name for this issue :P ) if they really are becoming a bothersome , you can group with guild-less people to go into a region thats affecting your game play or alt game play and allow more votes against the running guild for that region.
I will make a very tiny guild that will try and confront "these " big guilds that are doing a bad job and win against them or beat them in a duel to just put everything back to normal. Or make you the vanarch and adjust it till you mess up and i end up going against you :P it is corrupted politics but that's the fun part :D
If you got a guild leader with that kind of power trip then your in the wrong guild.

Oh I was not under the impression only guild masters could do it, thanks! And I'm not saying women can't do it, just the likelihood due to dumb people will make women an almost impossible candidate. Most guys are typically under the impression that they are better at these games than women (true fact) and they tend to do things "better" which I think is not true at all. I personally would like to see more women rulers than men, just for the reason that there are less *insert bad word here* women than there are men. Just what I think,
Hmmm my wife plays MMO's with me and as far as being a poor gamer compared to men i say shenanigans by far she is one of the best gamers ive ever played with and I thought that long before we even hooked up sad fact is she can usually whoop my arse at pvp as well lol
That's why I said "better". I do not believe for a second that girls are better than guys, and guys are better than girls. Just think in WoW, and in SWTOR, there are girls that are the best in the world. I'm just stating that probably most of the vanarchs are going to be male instead of female.
