Look, lets just be real here... (Read it, its worth it if your tired looking for a guild)
Theres like 100+ random guild posts with all the same... generic... boring... info claiming hardcore or casual pve, pvp, pvpvevqvwvt... whatever. Makes me eyes hurt trying to read it all! x.x
We had one of those posts too. It was all proper and boring and, yeah...
So I know who you are, you were just like me not to long ago. Its you, maybe a buddy or two and your all hyped up to play your new MMO but now ya gotta find a good guild. You've been in good guilds before, and bad ones but the idea of LOOKING for a guild and finding 10 pages of the same BS gets really old, really fast(why do I need to feel like I'm looking for a job when I just wanna play with some friends and enjoy my game?).
I can make amazing claims... I can make our guild sound way WAY better then x, y and z. I can use words like "community" and "server first"... I can bore you with well worded, well meaning line after line until you close the thread and move on to the next page that HAS THE SAME GARBAGE in a slightly different order.
But I won't... I'll be honest.
Right now Soldier is small, and honestly if we get huge, cool but its not the plan. See me and the boys(and girl) hop from game to game over time just like you and in each we look for new people to play with. We have a LOT of fun with these new people and when its time to move on sometimes those folks come with us, sometimes they don't. Its why we're a "we" instead of just a "me".
Anyway, after what seemed like days lost in a desert looking through forum post after post we just decided to make our own guild. We don't have grand plans of world domination... We'd like to take control of one of Tera's zones to wave our flag around and reap the rewards but its not the end all be all and from everything I've seen a small/medium guild can do that.
So we made a guild, and it needs some people. People like you...
You don't have to be HARDCORE, just be good in general and don't be a jerk and I willing to bet your gonna enjoy yourself with us.
Most of the large guilds I've been a part of I really only logged in to see a small handful of players anyway. You know what I mean, your buddies. The ones you chat with while killing boss X for the 12th time while you watch for raid queues so your not the guy standing in fire(don't be the stand in fire guy).
I could lay out a big #$%^ list of all the things we accomplished over the years but really... just no!
So I'll just lay out the general basics...
We most likely will roll on a PvE server(I want pvp but I'm out voted atm so its open).
We use vent(We like talkers but listeners are cool too).
We are generally EST but our play time is all over so its pretty open.
We're shooting for 20-30 members by release(more or less is cool as long as we like who we have at the time).
We are on Arachnaea (PvE) during the beta.
I made a fancy recruitment video(its not fancy, or really all that recruity... I'm very new to video editing =P).

And we have a fancy guild site(also not fancy or really very recruity... but it works).

...and thats about it. The videos my first real attempt at editing and the sites pretty basic but do you need that aspect to be all that amazing when you just want good people to play with? I say we get an A for effort and call it at that.
So yeah, if ya like what ya see hop on over to the site, do the little apply thing and say "hi". Were a friendly bunch and bam, before ya know it were all with the stabin n lootin and enjoyin this weekends CBT.

UPDATE As of 5-11-12 we are opening up recruitment on a limited basis in order to fill key roles in or line up. Interested players should head on over to our page and submit an application. Thank you for your interest in Soldier.
