not many games offer more then 10 at launch, more servers are added later.

if you say "Well WoW had so and so"..

actually WoW had less then 10.

and the number of servers depend on how many people each server can hold.

lets say each of those servers hold 1.5million people, 10 is a nice amount for launch, with more being added later.

I would like it to maintain a reasonable popularity, the small community aspect in some areas but enough members to keep the game afloat and spoken of.

Edit: Oh yes servers, I don't see smaller numbers of servers as a severe issue.

i didnt say it was an exact number, and seriously? 10-15k?.....i can run private servers off of my spare computers and host 5k people........dunno what official server company you are using..but i'd switch LOL

The short answer is, yes, there are "that few" preorders. Although seriously what did you expect? KR has 13 servers, from original of 39 or so I think. JP launched to 10 and merged to 3. I don't see any reason why Tera would perform differently in NA.

The guy just doesn't know what he's talking about. GL running a private AAA mmo game server from your garage that hosts 1k PCU without getting disconnected by your ISP.
