on my screen I have the layout of a ps3 controller
at any rate, my 360 controller isnt working. its hooked up properly, i just tested it. I even remember seeing some blurb about a controller when I first launched but the 360 controller isnt working.
Well for my instance on the EU sneak peek I dont even have a controller connected and I wana disable the controller icon on the right but theres no option to.

From what I found in the controller options, is that "Type 1" shows an xbox controller, while "Type 2" shows a Playstation controller.
I think in this same option panel is a checkbox to disable the controller overlay.

You can open the controller options by hitting the select/back button on the controller.
the controller isnt recognized, none of the buttons work. i hit the "back" button and nada
I too am receiving the same error. I have even restarted my computer with the controller unplugged, and it continues to detect the hardware erroneously upon launch. I cannot move the mouse, keyboard selection is unavailable, and the mouse power-drifts off the screen to the left.

Having it plugged in BEFORE the game starts helped me. But the only question I have to ask now is... You do have the wired 360 controllers right? Not the wireless ones, using the charge cable.
