I’m 35 years old. I have a family, two kids and a loving wife. I’m a computer engineer and I make a hell of a living, and own a 3k square foot home. I’m very polite, and get along well with everyone. I do not drink, do not smoke, or do drugs. I am good looking guy, 5’10” 200lbs and workout religiously. I live by the rules. If you every met me on the streets, we would most likely get along, maybe even become friends.

But I have a confession to make...

In game, I’m a bona-fide “Ganker”! I will murder you in a heart beat, without hesitation and highly enjoy it. I will grief you like this to no end… it brings me great pleasure when I know my victim is annoyed and even makes me giggle. I have been like this since the opening of Ultima Online back in 1997.

Are there any other “Gankers” reading these forums? And if so, tell everyone about yourself, a mini Bio perhaps? I am curious as I’m sure others are as well.

Someone questioned the legitimacy of who I am. I do not fear proving it. This is my you tube channel. You want proof this is my channel, contact me here and I’ll reply. Also, if you would like to find me in game, I just started another char based around ganking. His in game name is “ganker” And I will flag myself for PVP throughout the entire leveling process because I’m not a Wuss, like some people, and I take what I dish out. And I will get to 60 like that with little problem. Again, I’m on Feral valley, name is “Ganker” It will be one hell of a rid to 60 with that name :). And if you would like to challenge me, then so be it. Anyways… here is the link.

I also have 4 other toons, and have a healer as a main. Me and my son also plan on creating an active and challenging guild based around PVP. My goal is to create a guild that can dominate in PVP throughout the server. Or at least try. Will be fun…

Yep I do the same, being a douche to nice people leaves a bad taste to my mouth. I always try to be helpful and nice to people in game and in real life.

Im not a ganker but like to cause pain to others by running away as they attempt to catch me. Then I can smile in satisfaction as I hear their complaints and whines about people running away and demanding there be no safe zones at all on a pvp server. How's that? :D

And a non ganker is a carebear? LOL rriiiiiiggghhttt.

Killing of lowbies should NOT be allowed because it's gotten out of hand in a away I'm sure the developers did not intend...that is, high level players now routinely RUINING the experience of lowel level , possibly brand new players.



Leave it in, just make it something they have to think twice about. It will lead to more interesting pvp than just making it impossible to kill someone xx levels lower than you.

Seems like an obvious fix.

To the OP, if he has been taking this roll for so long in many games I have zero idea how he finds pvp / pk'ing satisfying in this. Getting ganked isn't even that big of a bother. Ends up boiling down to a free port.

Find the two hour instance wait an exponentially bigger problem for this game than ganking will ever be.
