I love you guys, I really do, but when you queue up for a dungeon and you're the only one from the RP server there, please accept this and do not try to force the other players to RP when they just want to discuss the strategy for the dungeon (especially for people that have never been there before) and get it done.

Several times now this has happened to me the last few days. If we're telling the lancer who's never done the dungeon before that the easiest way to tank the enemy is with his back against the wall, please do not pipe up with "Do you suggest we turn our backs to the enemy and behave like cowards?"

And while people on your server might be interested in reading the novel you have bound to your quickchat wheel about how your sister/father/life partner was killed/maimed/molested by this certain boss and you are out for revenge, the rest of us really, REALLY don't care.

Similarly, I'll extend the same courtesy. If I'm the only non-RPer in there, I may not RP with you but I'll try my best to not be an antagonistic douche.

LULZ...you're kidding right? People actually do that? I can see why it might be annoying, but I also think it would be incredibly entertaining to watch. SMH...people are weird, man.

Sadly, I wish I was kidding. I am not. After the RPing lancer decided to STOP HOLDING AGGRO so he could type out his war taunts in the middle of a boss fight, I just switched to Defensive stance and tanked it myself.

He then had the gall to chastise me in character about working together as a team, and that I was "ill suited to the task, little one."

I'm an RPer from CH and I've never seen anything like this happen, RPers tend to be a bit more mature and just know better than to try and drag people into their own story, unless there are some exceptionally stupid ones that don't realize the tool is Cross-Server play.

This is the best forum post in a while. I can see how that would be annoying but I think its cute. You should just let them go with it ;)

Please ensure that the LFD tool always includes Celestial Hills. Failure of this caliber is pure entertainment gold. That is what games are about after all.
