ATTN: Dev's: Too Slow!

Per a truly wonderful chat with Support (would love to name drop as to get him praise, but I'm sure all EnMasse support personnel are lovely) I was told to make a thread to the Dev's in hopes they would do something about this issue and get more confirmation from other players, so here it is:

There is something "off" with the Aman and Human Lancer skill animation and or speed for the ever so important skill "Stand Fast".

Simply the Aman and Human Lancers are just slow enough in raising their shields that they are taking damage when they should not as compared to the Elf and Castanic Lancers.

The Elf and Castanic races raise their shield quick, but more importantly "sharply" putting then into the protective stance of Stand Fast "just on time", whereas the Aman and Human draw their shield in a kind of "smooth" animation fashion rather than "sharply" allowing them to take some unnecessary damage for they are not quite "protected" yet. So I am not sure if there is a slowness to the animation or an actually slowness of the skill period. No matter which it is off.

This is an issue for the Aman and Human because naturally they are taking unnecessary damage, but also they can be stunned, knocked down, debuffed etc in that split second of not being protected by Stand Fast.

This could be for the Baraka as well (too slow), but I personally have not played a Beraka Lancer to compare.

Hmm Dev's this "slowness and or animation "smoothness" isn't a huge problem because one can simply use Stand Fast sooner than an Elf or Castanic, but it is unfair as Lancers don't do huge damage, but getting in every Combo Attack to raise more mana is as important as Stand Fast. An Elf and Castanic can get in one or two more Combo Attacks because they raise their shield quickly, sharply and are protected by Stand Fast whereas a Aman and Human would have to use that extra Combo Attack time to draw their shield "Stand Fast".

Sorry for the long winded-ness, just not sure if I am explaining myself well.

Cheers.
