I don't know if anyone noticed but because of the maximum level for the repeatable quests, it's actually almost impossible to finish several achievements including them, because you'll usually have outleveled them long long ago. Is there any chance of seeing something done about this?
Does it really matter? There are so many other achievements to do that you'll never even likely miss those few you could not get.
Unless of course you are OCD. In which case I could see that getting rather annoying quickly.
Of course it matters. Why put an achievement if it's impossible to get unless one delete his character and replay the game without doing any quest or grinding just to get those achievements? That's kinda stupid, isn't it?
The problem is they were designed in a way that supposed the XP curve was slower, so it was possible to do those quests and not outlevel them by simply playing the game. But since it's much easier to level up right now, the achievement is impossible to get unless you actually skip everything and just do those quests. The main problem being that if you missed it, it's over, you are forced to either deal with it or remake your character over completely, which really suck.
These marathoner achievements have been a problem for a while now. If you read that other thread linked to above (which, I admit, I have posted too many walls of text to), you will see that many are actually impossible to achieve.
That's because (I'm 99% sure) that these were designed for KTera originally, which was much more of a grind. When En Masse removed that grindiness by speeding up our xp dramatically, they never went back to change these maximum level limits. As such, it is actually impossible to do the prerequisite quests (and nothing else, no gathering, no dungeons, etc.) to get to the repeatables without going over the level limits.
It'd be great to have these fixed at some point. Remove the limits, or make achievements account-wide.
The completionist in me is bothered by this as well. Please know what we've identified these internally and will be adjusting them as we continue with live service. No ETA yet but they are on the list!
Thanks,
