After 52, it is a nightmare to level.

Leveling is fast for this game. Takes 12-20 hours to get 40 (depends on solo/group/class/skill) and around another 60-80 to get from 40-60 (I saw solos and groups). Solo players can actually level up pretty quickly, around 80-90% the speed of groups with 2 player groups going extremely quickly (lancer mystic seems to level at some insane pace).

If you think this game is grindy, go play any number of other MMOs. Even wow before they started buffing the xp took 8-20 DAYS for most people to hit 60, hitting 60 in less than 100 hours played is almost as fast as WoW nowadays.

As for people running out of quests. I think this is actually impossible for soloers. What you might be finding is you didn't do every quest at an outpost. This can make you miss entire quest hubs and cookie crumb quests.

My group that power leveled to 60 had to grind for a grand total of 3 hours to get 2 levels. And even then we only did it because we didn't want to quest.

Meh. I can kinda see why people'd [filtered] about it, since it's so easy for the first 30-40 levels, then starts climbing exponentially. Surprise KMMO! But yeah, it's really not that bad.

an ounce of difficulty?

Grinding has NOTHING to do with difficulty.
Grind does not make a game difficult, it makes it tedious.

It does make it more difficult, and prolongs the game, AND weeds out the spoiled impatient 12 yo's who should probably be sutdying anyway. seems like a win/win/win to me.

If you do not enjoy playing the game why are you playing the game? The journey is a part of playing the game as much as sitting around at lvl cap. Anyway, why is everyone scrambling so hard anyway? To become bored and leave? There's nothing to do there. Or is your only sense of self worth directly related to seeing your character ding? ..../facepalm

It's not that you run out of quests. You need to go get them. When you go into a new map, take every quest you can in the town, then go do them. Do not skip quests, only ones you can skip are BAMs.

Once you complete certain ones, others get unlocked, and some quests point you to the next camp in a zone.

I'm up to lv 56 now, and had no trouble finding quests, the only issue is mobs starting in Val Elenium get a lot stronger. Even at 56 with new skills and a new weapon, they still take time to kill.

I would have agreed with this post but after experiencing similar situation to OP I disagree.

Once you get to 50 or so, you better make sure you get and finish all the BAM quests in the zones. If you don't, your char will lag behind by about .5 to .75 of a level when you reach the next zone. This will slow you down a lot. So after 50, gotta do ALL BAM quests, too!

Oh, one more thing. It is REALLY advisable to be in at least a group with 1 other person because of bonus XP. Makes a big difference!
