Almost 3 months in, how's Tera doing?

Honestly? As I went to write this post & scanned down page after page of new complaints about things which are not getting fixed at all, I find myself saddened that a game with such potential is more than likely destined to crash and burn before a year..

When I watched the trailers for this game, the people on it were gamers, like us.. They said they understood our plight, the ignorance of developers, the bad customer support.. Wow, what a breath of fresh air.. But so far in my -several- chat support visits, the people have been in-experienced buffoons who know nothing about the game contents.. For example, the GM's are too stupid to know what the FoK timer actually does.. They cannot offer explanations for broken glyphs, character imbalance, or the lack of end-game content which is definately ruining Tera.

We're all sick of grinding FoK, BT and ToT all day.. Then going to Nexus as a -chore-.. It's horrifically laggy, I've spoken to customer support about this several times too, and they don't do [filtered].. They've got enough monthly subs to make a tidy profit, so now we just get the buggy out-dated patches from Ktera, turning this game into the same generic garbage as others.

Diablo III - even though to my distaste will sap the player population, from reputation alone.. Guild Wars 2? Everyone prefers it, and you're going to lose your population.. Planetside 2? Oh, another game of amazing longevity and reputation coming out.. And it has people in my guild playing a technical beta with more satisfaction than the current Tera system..

One last, final push to you GM's and Dev's if you even bother to read these freaking forums.. Pull your fingers, out of your [filtered]s.. Hire some GM's who know the mythos, the game technicalities, and mechanics - not idiots with cheesy GM names, who know nothing, and are arrogant.. And IMPLEMENT more content!!!! This game feels unfinished! People are going to leave.. They -ARE- leaving.. SO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT TO MAKE THIS GAME WORK!

And we players are getting sick of children coming on here and complaining because the game doesn't have as much content as other games on the market that have been out for years. You don't like that the developers can not output content as fast as you can burn through it, do not play the game as much. Stop just blowing through things to get to end game then blowing through all of the end game then complaining about the lack of content. You, yourself, said in the title of the thread "Almost 3 months in,..." Guess what, even 6 months in, NO MMO will have as much content as you are obviously wanting. Also, only 3 months in and you are complaining about bugs? Guess what as well, these other games you are mentioning and trying to say will hurt this game, they are going to have the same "problems" you are trying to claim this one does. MMOs do not launch with years worth of content patches. Nor do they launch with years worth of bug patches. Stop complaining about very normal and standard things with MMOs and go play one that takes your fancy if this one has a lack of content or too many bugs for you.

EDIT: You should also scan the forums more than you claim because this thread which deals with the same exact stuff you are talking about was only 9 posts below yours.

The issue I have with content, whether it be developer-made or user-made, is that if there isn't a lack of content available for people to do, there is a general sameness to most of the content created for players to conquer that makes it hard to want to do them for their intended, awesome purpose.

Tera is just one of many examples of this particular issue of not wanting to do stuff that is present in the themepark side of the MMO fence.

^ Too bad the game is a lot more in than 3 months. Nice try tho.

If you're sick of farming ToT, FoK, BT, and Nexus, TERA has nothing for you. When QOA 2 comes out, you be farming another cheap ToT-like dungeon, and 1 more 5 man dungeon, over and over.

Once you get t14 gear you can attempt to kill the Queen, but that will take quite a while. So have fun farming 2 dungeons over and over. Oh, and 1 whole BG. Oh man... the fun! Koreans aren't enjoying QoA 2. There is no word of any content after QoA 2. This game will be dead/f2p before the year ends.

And mature consumers and players here are sick of people thinking that Tera is competing against MMOs six years ago. Tera is competing against other MMOs NOW. Not six years ago. Get it?

Also, I'm a casual player and I'm already at the dreaded endgame. If a casual player like me can "burn through" the content then, guess what, there isn't enough.

And yes, Tera is more than 3 months old.

So, instead of going out and exploring the world and finding things to do that do not involve the norm, you guys come on here and complain about something that is in every single MMO? Also, how is TERA competing with GW2 and Planetside 2 when neither of those is out yet. And another thing, when you hit endgame on those games in a day and find that they also have nothing to do, are you then going to go post on their forums bashing the developers that they need to give you content because you only do things that the developer tells you to do?

And it seems like the only angry person here is you. Truth hurts that much? Write something irrelevant and stupid, always works... not.

Yet, mine is the truth. That is what makes it funny. You complain about there being a lack of content? Get a huge number of the community of your server together and make content. There are a HUGE number of things YOU can do to pass time and have fun in the game. Simply because EME is not giving you an incentive to do them does not mean they don't exist.

Nice try but this is not in every single MMO. Atlantica Online is a F2P MMO that had much more content than this game right out of the box. It didn't take 2 weeks for a casual player to run through all the content just to get to endgame and spam 3 dungeons for gold and fodder to enchant with. The game wasn't so lacking that players actually had to go out and "find things to do"(which you're delusional if you think the majority of players actually think that way) to distract them from the lack of real [filtered] to do that isn't completely pointless.

I've already explored almost all the world. I've even gotten to Baldera, Velika Wilds and other inaccessible places that developers don't want players to see. But seriously, quests already take you through most of the world.

Tera is competing against every MMO in the market right now and is also competing this weekend for consumer attention against the GW2 CBT.

And, while I don't plan on playing those games, but I doubt I'll reach endgame in a day considering it took me more than 2 months to reach Tera's. Plus GW2 has decent PvP as far as I know, and killing other players (that are your level) never gets old.
