Any plans to put more sets on the remodeling vendor?

Title. EME since you can only remodel Armor A to look like Armor B if you have the template or crafted item on you. Are there any plans to add more sets to the remodeling template vendor for our version? I know we can use craftable stuff as templates too, but from my understanding that's still extremely limited in what's available look wise . If there aren't any plans to just add more templates to the vendor. Are there plans to crafted templates that would be semi difficult to obtain/craft? that way not everyone is running around with look X, but its still obtainable for those that truly enjoy the look and want to put in the time/money/effort in to get it

I refuse to sign for this, having some through templates, others through crafting and keeping some sets rare through monster drops makes everything better and adds variety to the game.


You want variety in your looks, you want that cool rare look, work for it.


It will feel all the more better when you have it and nobody else does, now if it's a template and everyone likes it, well, enjoy seeing every other castanic wearing the same red leather armor as you.


Make the best looking gear hard to get so when I get it, I feel really accomplished and don't look like 90% of the other castanics in the game.

Um the only way to make your armor A look like armor B is through either a template or crafted item. Regardless of how difficult it is to get unless it has a craftable counterpart or is on the vendor as a template you'll never be able to get the same look. I watch a streamer that wont upgrade because he enjoys the look of his current set too much and there's no template or craftable with the same look.

So care to rethink your response?

yes, yes i am. He said tonight he's not upgrading because they look ugly to him and there's no way for him to get his current look because there's no template or crafted set with the same skin

(I do agree we have to EARN it, but disagree with the idea "We earned it, but arn't allowed to wear it.")

I was rather disappointed when I found out how the remodeling worked in the game.

I thought it would be obvious. Take armor you want to wear, then combine it with armor you want it to look like.

Then I get in and find that its some pointlessly bloated system of buying templates for the sake of money sink.

Well you can make it a money sink with out making it pointlessly bloated. Just set a standard price based on players level to use the service. Then anyone can use any armor they run across. Leave the templates up there for people who dont want to track down armor B, at a reasonable price and SHAZZAM you have a system everyone could love.

All armor should be templateable. It will prevent alot of people complaining later and give everyone a chance to look the way they want at all times and feel they have more freedom in the game to customize their characters how they see fit.
