Confirmation my new PC is being shipped today, from NewEgg...

Anyone else order a brand new PC just to run this game on max?

Nope, I did sort of get one for FFXIV and due to the others age in general...but it sure is a coincidence that Tera would have required one anyway :3

Well, not exactly... My laptop is and will forever remain terribad, but the fiance did just buy a new one and perked it up with some upgrades. Needless to say I'll be ninjaing that for my gametime.

My 2 year old PC is still capable of running TERA at max graphics.

The real test for my PC is Planetside 2 -_- I imagine that game will be brutal on max settings in a massive fire fight. FPS is LIFE in an FPS, especially an MMOFPS.

I bought a $500 Ibuypower and just beefed it up with a simple ATI 5770 and a good PCU. think i spent on NEEDED parts alone maybe a total of $850 (including monitors) Playes everything at max so far. Im not breaking the bank and im enjoying the games quality non the less. When tax returns maybe ill grab a 6870 or something. ;)

I ordered a new one, but TERA was just a good excuse. I've been putting up with some problems on my current rig for a while.

my pc can run tera fine at lower graphics so all i think i need to do is buy a new graphics card. it's nice that budget pc parts can last for a couple years before needing a change.
