will someone please explain why the [filtered] these classes aren't getting priority buffs?

Archers: The only Ranged class in existence that actually is kited by melee. We have kicks that are too slow to stun, Traps that just prolong the impending stun fest / knockdown (yes earings help) We takes twice as long to do LESS damage than a warrior or slayer (Penetrating / Radiant arrow) Ranged stuns and slow that take wayyyyyyy too long to cast to be effective and lots of cast speed Post and Pre that render us useless.

Of course, if you're a terrible melee, your bound to get [filtered] by anyone you PvP against, Aim is no issue and neither are PvP tactics, i've had 2 chars over 2.2k fmage 2300 and spriest 2700

What the [filtered] is up with the balancing in this [filtered] game.

Saying "DOHHH ARCHERS ARENT A 1ON1CLASS" isn't an answer to the solution, we do less dmg then all of the dmg classes combined and take a lot longer to cast them, Infact we do less dmg than zerkers which oddly enough move faster than archers.

Are you even level 60? Have you looked at advanced glyphs? I hear all day long how archers hit them for 50k damage, this game has been out for over a year and a half in Korea, if archers were as broken as you say, they would have been fixed by now. I think people need to start thinking differently.

yeah i'm 60, and if you're not playing an archer you have no idea how useless the archer master glyphs actually are, We already have 10 of the 15, They just shave 1 pt off or increase a useless glyph's proc rate by 10%.. Good for PvE, In addition the Slow effects archers have don't affect charges or backstabs =/= do you play an archer? maybe you're in the wrong thread

Archer master glyphs are a complete joke, aside from some of the ones that are identical to regular ones only with lowered point cost since they allow you to use more glyphs. I honestly haven't even bothered to try and get any of them because it's not anywhere near being worth all the time it would take.

Zerkers now move faster than Archers? Did I miss a patch somewhere, if so please tell me where I can get it. Q.Q

But seriously, iunno. In my experience, Archers have been pretty decent in single PvP.

It's pretty obvious that archers and zerkers are quite low on the totem pole. I have no clue why BH isn't taking a serious look at these classes and giving them an overhaul. I think at this point I'm just gonna assume that BH's game mechanics team is incompetent.

Are you sure you know what you're talking about? There are many saving points glyphs that are very useful (BOTH SLICK GLYPHS, HOW IS THAT PVE ONLY?!). And there are 0 new glyphs that are useful pve. At least there's breakaway slow, which is nice, and cq movespeed, which is...meh for pvp. No one cares about charges. You can easily kite through a charge (they move in a straight line lol), it should be nearly useless against you except to confuse your aim.

Make sure you're glyphed for pvp. Restraining arrow CD is critical, explosive trap (the non-ranged one) is amazing 1v1. Skip poison arrow entirely, glyph all your escapes, maybe go for longshot web arrow glyphs.

If you're having trouble with zerkers, just gtfo as an archer. It's sad really.

Smart warriors and slayers will kite archers, yes it's kind of funny. When i lay traps, they run far away from my shooting range, wait for their backstab cd before returning. They MUST backstab, or they die. It's that simple. When it's that simple, you know where and when to lay an explosive trap, just as he's coming back into range. If it's a slayer, keep a charge shot up when you think he's coming back, when slayers backstab you can unload on them just afterwards. No stun. Warriors have stun lock, but it's rare that they actually land every single stun needed, there are some slow ones that ranged will find easy to avoid. Time your charges so that they hit RIGHT after death from above and a dodge.

Warriors can't evade a trap with dodge, something they will hate terribly. With a trap at your feet, I find that warriors often will suffer when they backstab you. They proc your trap with backstab, you backstep out of the fray asap, charge up, and you will always come out the damage winner.

Also, if you know when a slayer will overhand strike, probably the only move that needs to be aimed in their entire arsenal, you can actually time backstep (even if you're immobilized) to mess your hitbox enough that it usually misses most of the time. Don't ask me why or how, I just know that it works.

The key to every fight though is landing 1 restraining arrow. free damage. Don't ever use CQ against slayers and warriors. It misses, they resist stuns, and it puts you in melee range way too long. Aim really only factors in with this. By far the most important skill against melee classes. I can miss several charge shots, as long as i land traps and a restraining arrow, I have a shot at winning.

Slayers will always be tough to deal with one on one, but not warriors.

Arrow volley is bad when they're about to backstab, but when you're kiting, know their backstab is on cd, it's a great move to do some decent damage or proc a dodge. After they dodge the lockon skill, which is often like instinct for them, smack them with a restraining arrow.

Use slaying crystal with carving, you will crit for 30k on the charge shots.

Eastern MMO devs are still pissed about projectile weaponry making swords and kung fu obsolete so they make archers and marksmen suck in all their games.

I'll be a [filtered] and say learn to play your class before complaining, I have seen plenty of great archers use their stunts/traps/attacks in succession to deal a tonne of damage.

None of the archers I know complain about being a gimped class they actually all think they are an underrated class.

Archers are also good in group PvP, for targetting squishies with penetrating arrow, laying traps to disperse people and rain of arrows for good AoE damage when there's a mass of people stacking together.
