As we all know, party kicking has become quite a trend in TERA Online. Whether it is due to a bad community or not I do not know, but i can say the blame falls on Lancers and their constant desire to be greedy. I came up with the following stats based on surveys and forums



So you tell me, what can EME do about this and how will people avoid it killing the endangered game. Lancer is a very controversial class it is overpowered in pvp and they are mainlyr responsible for the party kicking and whispering like rats among other party members before agreeing on a kick should the class just be revamped or something?

Competition. Competence is something else entirely. =)

Interesting chart nonetheless. I don't think I'd go so far as to say they're ruining the game, but some form of leash needs to be put on the kick process in general.

It's not EME's fault that their player base is stupid. I always give groups a chance, I don't care who is in it. The only way to 100% is for loot to drop individually for each player. Then there's no loot competition. Is it a good idea? I don't know.

Yep they are. And this chart is 100% accurate it's based on a study conducted by some of the brightest minds at MIT.

I've seen Lancers kick or deny groups to zerkers or healers only recruit leather wearers but I don't think that has anything to do with EME. If you see some one do it, call them out and let them know its not okay.. That's really the only way to change that type of behavior.

This is a problem in any MMO. Same thing happens in WoW, arrogant players (usually tanks) will kick people for really stupid reasons. The only way to fix it is to have a time limit to kicking, or if you want to screw over the arrogant Lancer for kicking on stupid reasons, pull something and then run away. Do that every 30 seconds or until he leaves or decides to do the instance anyway, since "can't kick during combat or shortly after" still is in effect.
