Armor Dying: Time Limitation Finalized?

While I understand the need for gold sinks in MMOs especially ones created by our brothers in the East, I personally feel that the limitation for dye lasting a very brief time (a day or so) is a bit much.

With the sheer amount of customization options that's being toted as one of the features of the game (such as the dying and the copying of armor models, etc) it seems like this is a bit harsh, especially for western audiences where we're not using to such limitations in games.

If nothing's finalized yet I respectfully request that the time armor dyes last for to be greatly increased (and of course their gold cost to be adjusted accordingly)
Either to be permanent or at least weeks/months at a time.

If En Masse still feels the need to limit the dyes in such a way may I at least suggest having a separate UI item specifically for dying? Such as say a bag we can carry to keep the dyes in so I'm not having to fill up slots with the dyes.

The reasoning behind all of this is that while I do want to customize my character to my liking primarily it's due to the fact that this is the first MMO I've been able to convince my girlfriend to play with me.. but only because of the ability to completely customize her character to her liking. If things stay as they are now.. either she won't be so prone to play or..... I'm going to be spending most of my freaking time farming to keep her dye lusts sated. LoL

Thanks,

Understandable. One thing I do want to point out, that some people don't realize is that apparently that "1 day" is in-game time, not real world time. It doesn't countdown while you're offline. But I do agree more "permanent" dyes would be cool. Although, the 7-day ones seems like they would last a few weeks depending on how much you play, so when gold is flowing as you get higher, I could see the current system working out just fine.

One thing to keep in mind is that dyes are craftable. If dyes wear off over time then that keeps the market for them viable all the time instead of only for a week whenever there is a content patch and everyone gets new armors.

Second. I don't see the need for a limit at all, this game has enough gold sinks already especially with Chronoscrolls.

they can be crafted.

it last in-game time. with one lasting 7 days.

thats 168 of play time. if you play 4 hours a night thats 42 days. for only 15k with BAMS that can be soloed later on that drop 200k

it is practically nothing but a minor inconvenience.

thats not a sink. its a transfer. a player buys the cronoscroll for real world money. it the gets sold to another player for gold.

player--> player

not

Player --> nothing

now is it a gold sink? and no, this game has huge economy problems.

Erm........ You do know the Chronoscrolls is a player set amount if I remember not a def.... So cant really call it a money sink also yo dont have to spend 15$ that month. A money sink is like Crafting, SoulSIckness, fast traveling.

I like the limit, I don't see it as a big deal at all. with how easy it was to make gold in this game, it's nice to have plenty of gold sinks to help keep inflation down. Plus it gives you opportunities to change the armor color. "well I have to dye it again anyway, let's try another color this time."

I made ~80k an hour farming basilisks with a few people. 10k for a week long dye is not even close to a big deal.

In my opinion the fact that there is a time limit at all means I'm not even going to bother with dying my gear at all. Because why would I wast time customizing my gear if its literally going to wear off in a matter of days or even weeks. It should be permanent.

I literally wont even use that feature of the game unless its permanent.
