The indestructible doors are suppossed to open when you kill nearby monsters. Must have killed 50 or so and can't get them to open. Anyone else have this problem or a solution?

You can get to all rooms there without opening those doors. Also, they open when you kill the BAM in the adjacent room. There really is no point in the doors, just a means of getting back to the main hallway quicker rather than backtracking the way you came, I guess. They aren't anything special or lead to anything special like you may have been led to believe.

I thought it was timed...either way though last time I was there there wasn't anywhere you couldn't get to just by blasting open a door...

Yes, most doors there require you to break them down. The indestructible doors however are the ones that lead off from the circular room where the BAM is located. It is not necessary for those doors to be opened as each room can be accessed without ever killing a BAM or opening those doors.

I don't recall anything being timed, but if I am missing some secret, let me know too!

Those doors are opened by killing the Armored version of those Minotaur things
