ok lets go ahead and implement your suggestion hypothetically.

what you are left with is 15 people doing nothing at all, waiting for pvp that will never happen on a "pvp" server.

False. Please actually research the subject you are talking about. Numerous games prove you wrong. In the game world we are all on the same side. Attempting to kill someone else is breaking the law. You can legally fight in a duel or in a guild war.

Your opinion blows. A true free for all system would be terrible and if you can't understand why, I not only question your intelligence but also your understanding of pvp in general.

@ Lpriest

THIS IS A GAME.

it should be about testing your skills.
as an mmo it should also be about testing your social ability
IE banding together with other small guilds to take down larger forces.
right now that is not possible dude to reasons i have discussed.

the unflagged people i see standing together arent together because they are friends or even know each other.
the outlaw system destroys the PVP community because there is no reason to form alliances!!! just huddle with the biggest bunch of carebears you can find!!!

The quoted portion, Serii, is where you have made your fundamental error. First -- MMO's, despite the claims, are not 'social'. Secondly, you are ascribing your own views and attempting to make them the definition. Now, while I can certainly get behind that from time to time, it's not something I'm likely to try with something quite as subjective as 'what a game -SHOULD- be about'.

False again. A group forming together and then going outlaw builds a great alliance as they then have to stay banded together to survive. Again please research what you are talking about because the past proves evey statement you made incorrect when it comes to pvp games.

Im so sorry, common sense has no place in your idea of "A GAME" ?

@nothv13.

noth , when i say zerg i am talking about a group of 10 or more people (on this server its more like 30).

lets say i do form and outlaw group
parties in this game are only 5 people large.
once you start trying to organize an outlaw group consisting of more than 1 party you run into the problems i mentioned earlier IE
FF
inability to heal teammates

please address those issues directly.

As an outlaw you have to play smart. Ive seen 5 outlaws that were grouped keep an entire zone in fear because they played smart, hid well and picked off people. Even saw that same group beat back a zerg of equal level characters.

If you want massive pvp, just start a guild war.

Again you are an outlaw, you are doing something against the law, it shouldnt be easy for you. Mindless pvp is horrible pvp.

Further if everyone was flagged you'd still have ff qnd healing issues.

picking off people isnt exactly keeping a zone in fear, and keeping a zone in fear is not really what im looking for here.

"Again you are an outlaw, you are doing something against the law, it shouldnt be easy for you. Mindless pvp is horrible pvp."

what i am reccomending in this thread is changing the law itself because of the way it discourages world pvp.
who said it was a good law in the first place??

a pvp game should not discourage pvp.

period

"Further if everyone was flagged you'd still have ff qnd healing issues."

then at least both teams would be on the same footing....
