Why would you find a crafter? Currently the crafting system is junk. Why would I find a crafter to make me a tier 8 lance when the best is tier 12? If they keep adding crafting recopies to be competitive with dungeons then it would work fine but I have yet to see any company do this.

I have not seen crafting past cbt3 (lvl 30 stuff) and the blue set was fairly easy to put together and had very good stats. The lvl 32 blue gear (which was a vendor turn in) only had a few points better. Also crafted gear in WoW was a good first step into raiding, which offered players the best gear outside of raiding. Look for a crafter like ValkyrieLaw said...

Crafters make good equipment, it's just far too expensive to do it reliably without being able to use pet stores to purchase materials at lower prices.

Stop ignoring crafting as an afterthought. It's a major and integral part of MMOs, as it should be - and a BoP ingame loot system keeps crafting in mind and strengthens it.

Want to provide blues for your guildies? Make them.

Crafting in WOW was only good in the first month. After that it was better to grind instances for your gear. Token gear was better than crafting gear. No one even crafted to use them gear but they crafted to get their crafting bonus.

If that is the direction this game is headed, we can enjoy sitting in Velika waiting for the dungeon finder queue to POP.

Crafting in WoW has been decent throughout the entire game. If you're going to talk about WoW, at least have some decent experience with it.

Adding BoP system to more items in Tera buffs crafting and the economy as a whole. Leave the thinking to the capable and just play the game. Work for your items, not just gather money and not have to go into the dungeons personally for them.

BoP has been around for 10-12 years in MMOs, and there's a reason for that. It's a fantastic system.

I want to be able to trade off blues and golds to people who are less fortunate with RNG. In beta I fully geared out pugs in blues and gold necks several times for the hell of it. I want to do this for launch.

BoP will ruin a lot of situations for the majority of non-selfish people as well.. (While the selfish prosper.. Enchanting is going to be even more difficult than it already is.)

Ie. An Archer rolls on a gold chest piece they already have, meanwhile the slayer in the party doesn't. Now they want this said chest piece for enchanting purposes, knowing that gold is now harder to get because of the BoP restrictions to the game. The Slayer is then screwed out of piece all because of greed.

How does this change anything? If the Archer is going to roll on that gold chest regardless, it doesn't matter if it's BoP or not. Maybe accidentally roll on it? Maybe. Then just put in WoW's "be able to trade to party for a certain period of time" to fix this. Other than that, still don't see a reason to not have BoP in this game unless you just want it to sell. Even on that end, Chronoscrolls will inflate the economy if we don't have BoP items.

Uh? Thats not entirely true. I personally pass on items I already have, giving the pug loot. Not everyone is a douche. But there are some out there with the mindset (Like you) who will roll on everything and even if there was an option implemented to trade back to the Slayer.. The Archer STILL wouldn't do it because gold is now rarer than before for enchanting.

If BoP wasn't 100% implemented the Archer would (given if it had the former mindset) be more inclinded to give the Slayer the piece since gold would have a higher chance to be obtainable.

And you're missing the first point I made.. People WANT to help OTHER people. I want to gear my friends, guildmates, randoms with duplicate loot I get on 4man runs I make.

I'm not crying over this change because I want to make money on the AH or beef up alts, but I actually want the FREEDOM to share with other people. Not everyone runs with a full party. I 3-4 man SM with my team. I get spares and give them away.

So basically if I party with you, you will roll on gear that is worse than what you have so you can give it to a guildie/friend who isn't even there.....

I dunno if I'm alone in this but... the concept of equipment binding is garbage, nothing should ever bind. I curse WoW for introducing this retarded concept.
